Original perennial herbs, all hairy, high 10 ~ 37 cm. The stem is square, erect, with outward base and branches. The leaves are opposite, round, oval or kidney-shaped, 8 ~ 29 mm long and 10 ~ 28 mm wide, with obtuse apex, heart-shaped base, serrated edges and dense hairs on both sides; The petiole is 5 ~ 15 mm long. There are two flowers in Hua Lun, which are connected with the terminal raceme on one side; Bracts ovoid, pubescent on both sides; Peduncle base has 1 pair of setose bracteoles; Calyx bell-shaped, 2 mm long, sticky outside, with 2 lips, whole margin, and 1 cystic shield-shaped protrusion on the back of calyx tube; Corolla purple, 2-lipped, ca. 19 mm, glandular and pubescent, with concave top of upper lip and 3 lobes of lower lip; Stamens 2 pairs, not prominent, anthers close together; Style inserted on the floor, 2-lobed at the top, nutlets transverse, ovoid, with tubercles. Habitat distribution grows on roadsides and hillsides. Distributed in central, southeast and southwest China.
