The national nature reserve covers an area of more than 45,000 hectares, bordering the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River in the north, Zhangjiajie in the west and 1 10 km from Shimen County. There are 266 strange peaks, with a main peak of 2098.7 meters, which is known as the roof of Hunan. Because Hu Ping was attacked by Quaternary glaciers, it preserved a good ecological environment and a large number of precious relict plant and communities, and was called "the gene bank of precious species in Central China" by Chinese and foreign experts and scholars. There are 72 species of terrestrial vertebrates/kloc-0, 2060 species of plants and 4 species of insects in Hupingshan National Nature Reserve. Among the rare animals, there are 7 species of national first-class protected animals such as clouded leopard, leopard, South China tiger, black deer and golden cat. There are 4 1 species of national second-class protected animals, such as macaque, white-crowned pheasant, red-bellied pheasant and giant salamander, which is the largest amphibian in the world. There are two kinds of national first-class protected plants: Davidia involucrata and Celastrus orbiculatus. There are 29 species of national second-class protected plants, such as Ginkgo biloba, Cercidiphyllum japonicum, Magnolia officinalis and Liriodendron chinense. Most of these rare plants belong to the ancient plants of tertiary ice age and the tree species left before tertiary, and are called "living fossils". Among them, Sorbus hunanensis, Carpinus Shimen and Prunus macrocarpa are new species that have not been discovered before, and are known as "whispers". Botanists at home and abroad have confirmed that Davidia involucrata in the mountain stream of Hu Ping is the largest Davidia involucrata community in the world.
Huayanxiguanlutai
Located 60 kilometers south of Changde, it was originally Huayanxi Forest Farm in Dingcheng District, Changde City. The mountain in the scenic area belongs to the remnant vein of Xuefeng Mountain, facing Taohuayuan Scenic Area across the mountain. It is a national forest park and a famous scenic and leisure tourist resort in Hunan Province. Every year from March to April, thousands of egrets come to Huayan Creek from the far south and settle in Huang Chong and Mushanling on the lakeside of Wuxi, where the fir forest is their sacred home. Staying in Qingshan attracts egrets and Huaxi egrets, whose feathers are like snow, and their posture is elegant and light, which is very ornamental. Herons are quiet and like to live in groups. They are scattered in lakes, rivers, ponds, farmland and swamps for food.
Qu Xi is facing the wind
This scene is located at the intersection of Yiwangxi and Yuanjiang River in Taoyuan. Yiwangxi Valley is surrounded by mountains and lush trees. At the confluence of Yuanjiang River, there is Shui Xin Zhazhufeng standing in the river, which divides Yiwangxi into two parts, and the stream flows into Yuanjiang River from both sides. Here, the towering green hills are reflected in the streams, and the mountains and rivers blend together, just like the Lijiang River.
Pingzi waterfall
This scene is located at the top of Hu Ping Mountain in Hunan Province. Hu Ping has steep peaks, ravines, gurgling streams and waterfalls. The waterfalls in the bottle are light and free as silk, and the waterfalls, line waterfalls, curtain waterfalls, fog waterfalls, foam waterfalls and waterfalls are beautiful and spectacular, and the scenery is different everywhere. In the meantime, there must be the feelings of the poet Li Bai.
Shinianzigou
The original ecological tourist areas derived from vines-Shinianzigou and Xiangbizou, are densely covered with moss, with waterfalls and clear water, stretching over 1 1 km. The streams in Shinianzigou preserve the original Davidia involucrata community with the lowest altitude and the largest area in China. The trunk is tall and straight, generally about 30m, with DBH 1m and tree age 100 years or more. Every year is the flowering season (April-May). White flowers are swaying with the wind in the green leaves of Jasper, just like a group of pigeons eager to fly, beautiful and moving.
