Yang Tao (1974.8-), professor, doctoral supervisor, received a bachelor's degree in hydrology and water resources engineering from Hohai University in 1996, and a doctorate in physical geography from Nanjing Normal University in 2006. From 2006 to 2007, he served as the Hong Kong A postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Geography and Resource Management of the Chinese University of China, a member of the China Hydraulic Society, a member of the China Geographic Information Systems Association, a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and a reviewer for the SCI journals Hydrological Processes and Stochastic Environment Research and Risk Assessment. He presides over the Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Fund and the Jiangsu Provincial Postdoctoral Fund Project, and participates in key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China as the subject leader.
