Can the newly made double eyelids be smeared with lemonade?
Don't put lemonade on the newly made double eyelids, and don't touch the wound with water before taking out stitches. The wound should be kept clean to avoid infection. Lemonade is absolutely not allowed to be applied. Lemonade is irritating to the skin, especially when the wound has not healed, it will burn the eye skin, lead to wound infection, cause inflammation, cause adverse reactions, and even seriously affect the postoperative effect. It is best not to try it easily.

Correct nursing methods after double eyelid surgery;

1, do not remove the gauze by force.

Usually, the doctor will put a layer of gauze on his eyes after the operation. After 24 hours, he must take off the gauze. He can dismantle it slowly or ask someone for help, but remember not to dismantle the gauze forcibly, which may lead to bleeding. If it cannot be removed, blood and gauze usually stick together. You'd better ask a doctor for help.

2, need ice and hot compress

Cold compress within three days after operation, hot compress after three days: after operation, wrap ice cubes with towels to reduce swelling and prevent bleeding. Hot compress to reduce swelling. There are two application methods:

Ice pack application: this is especially effective for cold compress under ice conditions. Put half a bag of crushed ice (or cold water) into an ice bag made of rubber, put the bag flat on the table, raise the mouth of the bag, gently press the bag body with your hands to exhaust the gas in the bag, then tie the mouth of the bag tightly, dry the surface moisture, cover it with a cloth cover and put it on the surgical site. The cold compress time is generally 20 ~ 30 minutes, which can be repeated several times a day.

Wet and hot compress method: the compress can be gauze or towel. First, soak the compress in a hot water basin, take it out and screw it to a semi-dry. Use the wrist and palm to test whether the temperature is appropriate (it must not be scalded before applying it to the affected area). Cover the compress with a cotton pad to avoid heat loss. Replace 1 compression about every 5 minutes. 15 ~ 20 minutes each time, 3 ~ 4 times a day. You can also use hot water bottles and kettles to directly dry and hot compress.

3. Avoid wetting the wound after the operation.

Don't touch water before the wound is taken out to avoid infection. Apply a cotton swab to your eyes every day with erythromycin ointment. If there are secretions on your eyes, you can wash them with a cotton swab dipped in normal saline, and the action should be light. It takes about 1~6 months for the double eyelids to completely reduce swelling, and everyone's recovery speed is not exactly the same.

Step 4 avoid touching with your hands

Avoid touching the surgical site with unclean hands to avoid bacterial infection. The surgical traces cured after inflammation are particularly obvious, and inflammation may also affect the shape of double eyelids, so attention should be paid to preventing inflammation.

5. Pay attention to rest

Use your eyes after operation, try to reduce reading and watching your mobile phone, and let your eyes have a rest. Eyelid activity, it is recommended to reduce activity in the first three days, which is conducive to tissue healing. In the later stage, you can properly and consciously open your eyes and close your eyes, muscle activity, promote the formation of double eyelid creases, promote lymphatic and blood circulation, and be conducive to early recovery. In order to avoid eye fatigue, pay attention to rest within 3 days before operation, and try not to watch TV, play mobile phones, play games, read books and newspapers for a long time. Especially people who wear contact lenses,

Do not wear it for 2~3 weeks after operation, as directed by the doctor.

6, pay attention to diet

During the recovery of eyes, you should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and eat more foods rich in protein: meat, eggs, milk and beans. Do not eat spicy and irritating foods and foods that are easy to cause edema, such as fish, leeks and spinach.

7. Avoid bad posture

Postoperative posture also needs attention. Don't bend down to tie your shoelaces, don't read or lie prone, and don't defecate hard. Do not lift heavy objects forcibly, which may lead to bleeding, exudation and swelling. Pay attention to relax your head and sit in a comfortable chair to rest; Keeping your head high while sleeping will help to reduce swelling as soon as possible.

8. Don't use drugs indiscriminately.

Most eye plastic surgery is clean surgery and does not require antibiotics to prevent abuse. Not to mention infusion. It is wrong to think that oral administration or infusion of antibiotics will speed up recovery! If there are signs of inflammation such as redness, swelling, heat and pain, you must diagnose it face to face and take medicine under the guidance of a doctor. You can take detumescence medicine after the operation. One week after stitches are removed, anti-scar drugs can be applied externally to reduce scar formation.

9. Keep a relaxed mood

Just after the operation, about 50% people look different, and more than 90% are caused by the different swelling on both sides. Therefore, a few months before the double eyelid shape is completely finalized, don't always worry in front of the mirror, try to stay relaxed and wait for the beautiful flowers to bloom. If you are still very concerned, you need to fully communicate with your doctor before deciding whether you need to adjust.
