The difference between cast coke and calcined coke
There is a difference between cast coke and calcined coke.

1. Casting coke is a special coke for cupola smelting iron. This is a metallurgical coke. Named after molten iron is used to cast iron parts. Therefore, cast coke should have the characteristics of large lump, low reactivity, small porosity, sufficient impact crushing strength, low ash content and low sulfur content.

2. Calcined coke is the product of petroleum coke calcined at high temperature, which can be easily distinguished by removing moisture and volatile matter, shrinking volume, increasing strength, reducing resistivity and exposing pores. On the surface, calcined coke and glistening are piled together (there are also some black calcined coke with a pyrolytic carbon film on it, but it is not burnt), and the density of petroleum coke is high, so the calcined coke body is high.
