As for the spread of Huanglongbing in citrus trees, it can be divided into two types: long-distance spread and short-distance spread.

In places suitable for planting citrus, fruit farmers who plant citrus must pay attention to the fact that their introduced citrus seedlings and grafted fruit ears cannot carry Huanglongbing when introducing seedlings from other citrus planting areas, which is an important link to prevent Huanglongbing.

The close spread of citrus Huanglongbing can also be said to be the spread of diseases between orchards. Its transmission route is mainly through citrus psylla, artificial tools and grafting infection, which makes citrus seedlings suffer from Huanglongbing. Then I personally think that the prevention and control methods of Huanglongbing in orchards are:

1. We all know that people with good physical fitness have much stronger disease resistance than those with poor physical fitness. Similarly, strengthening the management of water, fertilizer and citrus can also improve the disease resistance of citrus trees.

2. Citrus psyllid is the main pest of Huanglongbing, so citrus orchards must strictly control psyllid and spray it carefully in spring, summer and autumn. At this time, it is best to control psyllids in the whole orchard at the same time, and the effect will be better.

3. When yellow buds (golden flowers) appear on the upper or top of the green crown of citrus, or the old leaves and leaves appear mottled and yellowed after many years of turning green, fruit farmers should judge or ask experts to see if the fruit trees suffer from Huanglongbing, and dig up all the diseased trees in time after confirming Huanglongbing, and remove or reduce the diseased plants.

4. When pruning citrus, it is best to use tools without Huanglongbing virus (pruning fruit trees first and diseased trees last).

5. When grafting citrus seedlings, the cutter for cutting the grafting surface should not carry virus; The transplanted ear can't carry the virus.

In a word, although I heard that the citrus trees just suffering from Huanglongbing can be treated with tetracycline hydrochloride, which has certain preventive and therapeutic effects, I personally insist that it is better to get rid of 100 citrus trees suspected of Huanglongbing than to let go of a citrus tree suffering from Huanglongbing.
