The so-called facial nevus resection is plastic surgery to help women with nevus problems solve their troubles.
There are many surgical methods to remove facial punctate nevus, among which forehead nevus resection and suture are the most common. The main process of the whole operation is as follows: a spindle-shaped incision is designed on the normal skin around the nevus, and its long axis is consistent with the dermatoglyphics. Wedge-shaped excision of the skin tissue and a small amount of normal subcutaneous tissue involved in pigmented nevus makes the incision smoother after suture. If the area of the mole is very small, it can be sutured directly with 3/0 non-absorbent thread. Then use 5/0 non-absorbent thread for intermittent skin suture. If the area of the mole is large, it can be sutured in two layers: subcutaneous and skin.
The effect of facial nevus resection is ideal, but not all pigmented nevus on the face need surgical treatment. According to experts, the scope of application of facial nevus resection is as follows:
① Patients who are initially diagnosed as borderline nevus or have premonitory symptoms of malignant transformation, such as color change, enlarged lesion range, bleeding, inflammatory changes, etc.
② Those with large range, rough surface, nodules and long hair. Affect the appearance.
In a word, facial nevus, intradermal nevus and mixed mole, which are small in area and can be directly sutured after excision, are all suitable for facial spot nevus excision.
Conclusion: Although most facial defects can be covered up by cosmetics, facial nevus can not be completely solved by cosmetics, so I suggest patients to have facial nevus resection as soon as possible.
