How to cut potted roses after they bloom?
After the Chinese rose is in full bloom, we need to pay attention to maintenance, so that we can bloom more beautiful flowers in the future. Rose needs pruning after flowering, so as to maintain the growth trend and plant type. So what exactly should we do?

Chinese rose

By pruning in winter and thinning buds in early spring, the flowers in May 1 batch were basically neat and consistent. Pruning after flowering should pay attention to maintaining the uniform growth potential of the plant shape, so that the flowers will be neat in the future. When the flowers are about to wither, they should be pruned properly in time. The method used is: leave 2 ~ 3 leaves from the base of weak branches to bend, and make the branches slightly injured, cut off the tip residual flowers, and leave 3 ~ 4 leaves from the base of strong branches to cut them short. Branches that have not blossomed but have been capped when pruning in summer are reserved for flowering if they are strong, and treated as weak branches that have blossomed if they are weak.

After the second batch of flowers, that is, the high temperature rainy season, most varieties are in a dormant state, and the new branches that continue to develop are complex, thin and uneven, and the flowers are not shaped. In the meantime, they can't trim strongly. Only the endogenous overlapping branches and buds are removed to keep the trees well balanced and ventilated. Take off the buds if necessary, and keep strong branches to prepare for the flowering of 10.
