In all advanced countries in the world, including the United States, facial plastic reconstruction is a sub-professional field of otorhinolaryngology head and neck surgery. In view of this, with the efforts of Taiwan Province Medical Association of Otolaryngology and Taiwan Province Medical Association of Facial Plastic Reconstruction Surgery, the Ministry of Health officially approved the inclusion of facial plastic reconstruction sub-specialty in the curriculum benchmark of Otolaryngology training on July 1 this year, which is a major change in Otolaryngology.
In addition, in order to improve the operation of the above-mentioned related specialties, the annual meeting of Taiwan Province Medical Association of Facial Plastic Surgery 12, co-sponsored by Department of Otolaryngology, Guotai General Hospital, Taiwan Province Medical Association of Facial Plastic Surgery and Taiwan Province Medical Association of Otolaryngology, was held from October 22nd to 23rd, 20654381. The agenda of the meeting included surgical demonstration, real-time video link teaching and special lectures and discussions on cosmetic medicine, and Stanley Liu, a professor from Stanford University, was specially invited to give a surgical demonstration.

For the first time, this conference brought together outstanding doctors in five fields of craniofacial cosmetic medicine (plastic surgery, dermatology, otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, ophthalmology, oral and maxillofacial surgery), and invited famous scholars and experts from the United States and Vietnam to share new knowledge of international cosmetic medicine. Taiwan Province Medical Association of Facial Plastic Surgery was established 12 years ago, which not only rooted and popularized the education of cosmetic medicine, but also continued to actively communicate with international medical care. In 2007, it was officially invited by the International Federation of Society of Facial Plastic Surgeons (IFFPSS) to become a member organization, and it is also the only medical association related to cosmetic medicine in Taiwan Province Province, striving for the qualification to hold the World Congress of Facial Plastic Surgery in 2020.
The annual meeting of Taiwan Province Medical Association of Facial Plastic Surgery 12 will last for 2 days, and the agenda of 1 day will be held in Guotai General Hospital. It is the first time that three high-standard operating rooms demonstrate facial plastic surgery at the same time. Real-time video connection teaching and interactive discussion are conducted in the third line of the international conference hall in the hospital. Professor Stanley Liu of Stanford University was invited to give an operation demonstration.
