Pomegranate does not need to be cut after storage, but can be picked directly from the tree. As long as the temperature is suitable, it can be carried out all year round. However, because of different regions, the cutting and burial have also changed, but it can be done in spring and autumn in the north.

Spring is in late March, and autumn is 10~ 1 1. Comparatively speaking, autumn is better than spring, because there are more nutrients in autumn branches, and water is not easy to evaporate at low temperature, which is beneficial to rooting, but autumn planting time should not be too early, and cutting early is easy to freeze to death.

Cutting method of pomegranate:

1. Choose the tender branch cutting in the current year, because the tissue is delicate, the vitality after cutting is tenacious, but the fruiting time is long. If you choose long branches or vigorous branches as branches, it is not easy to take root and bear fruit in the later stage. It is best to choose branches that have been cut for more than 3 years for family bonsai. After cutting, it blooms and bears fruit early, and it is not easy to grow up. It is just right at home.

Generally, gray 2-3-year-old branches of robust trees are selected. The diameter of limb branches is about 0.5- 1 cm, and the length is 15-30 cm.

2. Fill the container (flowerpot) with soil and water, and set aside.

3. Trim branches, cut the section into horseshoe shape, and cut off some leaves to avoid consuming too much nutrition.

4. Insert the branches into the basin, cover them with plastic bags to keep them moist, and put them in a semi-shady place.

It will take root and sprout in a month or so, and grow tender leaves. When five or six leaves grow, they can be dug out and replanted.
