A doctor’s behavior? Moments in her past

Looking at the skinny and weak patients, the grieving family members and the poor children, Qiu Yuhan’s heart trembled . Without surgery, the patient will only die. However, because the patient had undergone three surgeries, the abdominal cavity had severe adhesions, the tumor was huge, and the blood supply was rich, the surgery was extremely risky. Once it fails, it will undoubtedly affect Professor Qiu Yuhan's honorary title of "Famous Sword". In the face of life and death, honor and risks, Qiu Youhuan made a decisive decision: willing to take risks, even if there is a glimmer of hope, to get the patient back from the hands of death.

Sonorous Rose, Medical Journey

Strength and softness are contradictory and perfectly combined in Professor Qiao Yuhuan of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University.

Her cheerful temperament and gentle conversation always make people feel warm and happy; her demeanor is firm, confident and tolerant, and she has an irresistible appeal. "The sword is like a rainbow, and people are like jade." "This is her true portrayal.

She loves life, but she loves work even more. She devotes her passion to medicine. Work is the meaning of her life. In the 47 years since she has been practicing medicine, she has been unyielding and struggling, and every step she takes is sonorous and powerful! She is like a beautiful female flower, blooming calmly and generously in the vast land of the Central Plains!

Doctors came from a poor family and became associated with obstetrics and gynecology

In 1965, because her family was too poor and her mother was unable to support her, Qiao Yuhuan dropped out of school in her third year of high school in Mengjin County No. 1 Middle School in Luoyang. Teachers and classmates felt sorry for her. After that, Qiu Yuhuan helped her mother with farm work during the day, and learned to spin flowers, weave cloth, and mend clothes like other girls of the same age at night.

With the support of relatives, she entered the medical school

There is no end to the road. After her married sister found out, she supported her to return to school. That year, she successfully passed the highest medical school in Henan - —Henan Medical College. Coming to the provincial capital from the countryside, she eagerly absorbed the nutrition of medical knowledge, determined to learn the skills of treating diseases and saving lives, and repay the society and her mother's hard work in raising her.

Caring about patients gave her the idea

During her graduation internship, under the leadership of Li Zisen and Huang Yiyu, well-known professors of obstetrics and gynecology in Henan Province, she worked successively in Nanyang District People's Hospital and Worked as an intern at Sanmenxia Yellow River Hospital. From the outpatient clinic to the ward, especially during her internship in obstetrics and gynecology, she saw countless rural women coming from Funiu Mountains to see patients with uterine prolapse, gynecological tumors and obstetric dystocia, which deeply hurt her heart. She carefully observed every movement of the leading professors and imitated them secretly. After graduation, she chose obstetrics and gynecology without hesitation.

From 1976 to 1978, Qiu Yuhuan was fortunate enough to study in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. In this highest medical palace in the country, where medical masters such as Lin Qiaozhi, Song Hongzhao, Wu Baozhen, Lang Jinghe, etc. gathered together, her eyes were opened. The words and deeds of the masters became a model for her to learn from. Whether it was ward rounds or outpatient visits, she saw every word and deed of the masters in her eyes and remembered them in her heart. She recorded almost every word in the small notepad she carried with her. Over the past two years, she has memorized nearly twenty books, which she calls "clinical recollections." Today, these precious "clinical relics" have been handed over as family heirlooms to his daughter, who is also an obstetrician and gynecologist, allowing Master Xiehe's superb medical skills and noble medical ethics to be inherited and carried forward among his students and children.
