Does general motor vehicle insurance cover body scratches?
General motor vehicle insurance refers to commercial insurance. Commercial insurance includes vehicle loss insurance, three risks, vehicle personnel and vehicle theft and rescue. These four risks are the main risks, and one or more of them can be insured. Glass breakage insurance, spontaneous combustion loss insurance, body scratch insurance (some companies call body paint damage insurance) and special insurance excluding deductible are additional risks of the main insurance. There are two kinds of car body scratches, one is plastic painting, which belongs to the insurance liability of vehicle loss insurance, and the other is car body scratch insurance (some companies call it separate damage insurance of car body paint). If only painting is needed, plastic painting is not needed, the deductible is 15% for each loss, and the liability limit is reduced accordingly according to the compensation amount after each compensation.
