Some pigmented nevus will have hair growth on it. Generally, we call it hairy nevus, which is actually a kind of intradermal nevus. You can pull it out or shave it off. If the area is not large, it can be removed by laser. If there is no hair on the nevus, it may be a precursor to the canceration of pigmented nevus, and hairy nevus is safe.
