1. Shearing
The shearing period of sheep depends on the regional climate, and is probably between June and July. Choose the best time to shear based on weather conditions, and it should be done when the sheep are in good condition. If you choose a sunny day and shear your hair in advance, you may suffer undue losses. Sheep should stop grazing, drinking water and feeding 12 hours before shearing to avoid feces contaminating the wool and causing casualties during shearing. 3 to 5 days before shearing, the shearing area should be carefully disinfected and cleaned. Shearing in the open air should be done in a high-dry place and covered with mats to avoid contaminating the wool.
When shearing, first lie the sheep on the left side on the shearing table. The shearer leans on the back of the sheep and gently presses the shoulders and buttocks of the sheep with his knees, starting from the right rear ribs and working from back to front. Cut off the wool from the abdomen, chest and right front and rear limbs. Then turn the sheep to lie on its right side and cut from the inside to the outside of the left hind leg. Then, shear the wool from the left side of the sheep's body lengthwise from the outer arm of the left hind leg, back to the neck. Then stand the sheep up, head down from the neck, cut off the wool on the right side of the neck and right shoulder, and then clamp the sheep's head with both legs. Then cut the right side of the coat horizontally from bottom to bottom, and finally check the whole body and cut off the remaining wool.
2. Washing
After the wool is built, it must be washed in the wool scouring factory. In the large pool, chemical additives and water are added, and then the feces, impurities, etc. on the wool are removed through a wool washing machine. After washing, the wool has been dried and can be packed using a hydraulic press.

3. Opening
The wool opening machine opens the wool. Generally, the wool coming out of the wool washing factory has been packed with a hydraulic press. The wool is pressed very tightly, so it needs to be opened with a wool opening machine.
4. Carding: After the wool is evenly fed through the carding machine, it is opened, carded, impurity removed and coarse hair removed. Sheep cashmere generally needs to be combed 17-20 times, and finally the relatively pure cashmere is separated. The remaining scraps are generally used to make carpets.

5. Washing
The washing of sheep cashmere is divided into two categories: one is ordinary sheep cashmere cleaning; the other is mercerizing. Sheep wool mercerized.
To clean sheep's wool, first put cold water in a large pond and heat it with steam. After reaching a certain temperature, add chemical additives. Then add cashmere and soak for about half an hour. Then workers have to step on all the cashmere with their feet to mix the chemical additives evenly, and then soak it for about half an hour.
Cashmere washing is mainly used to remove impurities in cashmere to make cashmere softer and whiter. The quality of cashmere washing not only affects the damage of cashmere, but also affects the final quality of cashmere products.
To mercerize sheep's wool, put cold water in a large bucket. Then add chemical additives, and then add sheep wool. Soak for 6 hours
