It is indeed possible that the temporomandibular joint may be affected by the movement of teeth during correction, but it is only temporary. When all the teeth are moved in place, the occlusion will be the same as normal.

If the teeth can't bite after treatment, or there is something wrong with the temporomandibular joint, such treatment is unsuccessful.
