occupation
Born in Okuda, he is the eldest son of Okuda and Jiro, the Lord of Green Olympics Shirakawa, and has two sisters. My father died in 1845. The eldest sister, Chong Tian Hong, married Lin Taro of Chong Tian (whose real name is Rintaro Inoue) and inherited the head of the family of Chong Tian. At the age of nine (1850-1850), he became an inner disciple of Kosuke Kondo, the owner of the Edo Natural Flow Dojo, and at the same time, he became a fellow disciple with kondou Isami and others who were important figures in organizing the new electoral group in the future. With outstanding efforts, Okita won the "Free Biography of Xu Quan" at 186 1, and became the head of the natural flow laboratory at a young age, and was hailed as an unparalleled talented swordsman. It is said that Shu Chang guided fencing in a rather rough way during his tenure.
1863, Okita joined the Shi Lang delegation and went to Kyoto. After the split of Shi Lang Group, he formed a new electoral group together with Kondo and others, and later became an assistant director of the new electoral group. During this period, Okuda personally participated in the assassination of newly elected group directors Serizawa Kamo and Hikojiro.
1864, Okita was active in the Ikeda family incident, cutting down several nobles who respected the king, but suddenly fainted in Ikeda family due to tuberculosis (opinions vary). However, in the history of the newly elected group, Okuda was still quite active, and it is hard to imagine that he was ill that day.
Since 1865, Ikeda's team has always completed important tasks. It is said that even among the newly selected swordsmen's numerous groups, fencing is one of the best.
1865 In February, Okuda was sent back and arrested near Jiangcaojin during the escape of newly elected group leader Shan Minami Keisuke. On February 23rd (1865/3/20), Shannan was cut off due to Okuda's mistake. (Xiecuo means that a person stays with the person who will be cut off, and at the same time cuts off his head to help him die. Although Okita has always worshipped Shannan like a brother, in his letter, he only touched on Shannan's death.
After 1867, due to illness, Okita fell into silence from the front line. In the Battle of Bird Feather, Okita was escorted to Osaka because he could not participate in the war. After the defeat, he and his team returned to Edo along the coastal highway and had to leave the team on the way to Jiayang Town (opinions vary). Later, he took refuge in shogunate minister Ryoshi Matsumoto, and hid in Asakusa Ryoshi Matsumoto (said to be the guest house of Hiragoro's family in Shangmugu, Chituo Valley). 1868, he died two months after being beheaded in kondou Isami, and he didn't know his death. That night, the body was sent to Sakamoto Temple in Yuanmabu, the port area of Tokyo, and was quietly buried. It is said that the temple has been the Bordet base of Tian Chong family (the tomb of Tian Chong family for generations) since Yong.
figure
Legend has it that once, Sakuma's son Miurusuke was insulted by a team member. Then one day, when Earthwork and Okuda were playing chess, not far away, San Pu cut the team members from behind. Chong Tian was furious, shouted "You bastard", pulled up San Pu's collar and dragged his head back and forth on the tatami, so San Pu's nose was ground latosolic red. Tian Zhong was not furious because his companion was attacked, but was angry at San Pu's cowardly behavior of attacking others from behind. It is said that Okuda tried to kill the black cat that appeared in Uekiya's yard before he died, but no matter how many times he tried, he failed. Tian Chong felt the pain of his decline and sighed, "Oh, I can't cut it. Old woman (the old lady who takes care of Tian Chong), I can't move. " (However, some people think that this is the personal creation of Kazuko Zekuan. It is also said that until his death, Okita was still "Mr. Kondo didn't know what to do with it?" Still no news? "Keep saying worry about kondo. Because everyone around him was strictly told to keep Kondo's death secret, Okita died without knowing that Kondo was dead. It is said that before this, when the Jiayang Town team went to play ball, Kondo visited Okuda. Only at this time, Okita, who has always been quite cheerful, could not help crying.
swordsmanship
Tian Chong's famous move is the "three-step stab" (the move of stabbing the opponent's throat in kendo). Starting from the posture of the left eight-phase, I only heard footsteps once, and in between, I heard three spikes. At lightning speed, when the opponent realized that he had killed another second, the attack was over (because no one knew this trick after that, and the truth was still unknown). However, unlike that kind of sword, Okita is a humorous person, who often laughs and often plays with children near Tsusuo. Therefore, when Ryotaro Shiba, a writer, wanted to write his works with the new electoral college as the theme, he also asked the old woman who played with Okita when she was a child (probably around 1960, because the Meiji Restoration began around 1868, so it can be seen that the voice of Okita fencing is also related inside and outside the new electoral college. Before the newly elected group was formed in Wenjiu 2 years (1862), Kojima Yasunosuke wrote in his Kojima Diary: "With this man's fencing, he will become a perfect man in his later years"; Nishimura Kaneshiro, who is critical of the newly elected group, said in The History of Lonely Surgeons: "He is a close subordinate of Kondo and a first-class swordsman in the team." Moreover, Abe Shiro, who is hostile to the newly elected group, also said in the Historical Conversation: "Okita Souji, as a disciple of Kondo, is still quite good." "Okita Souji, Jiro Ishigaki, these young people are just a little talented, but fencing and things like that make them great." "Jiro Ishigaki, Okita Souji, Inoue, these people, regardless of right or wrong, kill people unscrupulously." Wait, I can especially see the provocative feeling brought by the swordsman's pen in a hostile state. In addition, Ichiro Chiba (a newly recruited player and a colleague of Tomita's brother-in-law) said: "In our view, he is at best the strength of the catalogue (low level)." This is the only negative opinion on it.
Tian Chong's knife
In the novel, the knife held by Okita Souji is called "the giant Yi Zong Ze". According to the works of Kazuko Zekuan and others, "The sword used for punching fields is made of chrysanthemums", but this concept was popularized in Ryotaro Shiba's later work "The Record of Blood and Wind in the New Writing Group". However, the Dao made in Zong Ze was a very expensive ancient Dao for those who used to use Japanese Dao at that time. No matter from the economic point of view or the necessity of actual combat, it is very unlikely that Okuda will hold this knife in his hand. Therefore, such a statement is not adopted by researchers at first. It is generally believed that the knife actually held by Okita is "Kashuu Kiyomitsu". Or, someone pushed one of several knives engraved with "Chrysanthemum Room No.1" made by people outside the sect. In either case, there is a great possibility of changing knives several times in Beijing like other players.
Adonis
Since the works of writer Ryotaro Shiba, Okita has often been endowed with the image of a beautiful teenager in the world of novels, movies and dramas. Regarding the appearance of Okita, the remaining portraits of Okita were painted in Showa for four years, based on the people of Okita's family. According to Yagi's people or people related to newly elected groups, there is no concept of "beautiful teenagers". According to records, Hiroshi Okuda was "flat and black", "strong shoulders", "hunchbacked" and "tall". (In "Give it to the Dragon Horse! The image presented under such a description also makes people doubt the statement of beautiful teenagers. In my impression, Okita was a beautiful young man, because he had a dramatic life with superb swordsmanship, but unfortunately he died of tuberculosis. Coupled with the need to perform such a dramatic life, Ryotaro Shiba's Burning Sword, which inherits this trend, is positioned as "fencing is better than ordinary people and cheerful, but on the other hand, it is positioned in many works. This impression is deeply rooted in the hearts of ordinary people. Others believe that the influence of most video media, such as movies, cannot be underestimated. These media always let beautiful young people play the role of rushing to the field. Regarding Ikeda's portrait, the paper "Lu Ji's New Writing Group" published by 1977 (formerly published by Tokyo Sports News Agency) published a photo claiming to be Ikeda. The book contains many photos of young warriors who claim to be newly elected players, and you can also see the posture of warriors the same age as Okuda. Many researchers are skeptical about this.
love
In the creative world, since Ryotaro Shiba's novels, Okita has generally been portrayed as a young man with a pure heart. So almost all of them describe the pure love of the daughter of the town doctor. In fact, there are no women in Flower Street and Liuxiang in Tian Chong, nor in Kondo and Earthwork. However, there is a female record in the ghost account of Rensheng Guangyuan Temple that says "relatives of Chongtian". Some people think this is Okita's lover. According to research, this woman is a widow named Hiroshi Ishii and has a daughter. Although some people say that Okita gave birth to a daughter when she was with this woman, there is no evidence. Moreover, among the newly selected groups, there is also a player named Okita, "Okita Shinichi" (one of the players recruited in Edo in April of the first year of Keio). Some people think that the "Chongtian" in the cheats is actually him.
Onset period
Speaking of Okita Souji, it is reasonable to describe in his works that he suddenly died of blood and collapsed in the battle of Ikeda House. But now the above statement is not accepted by researchers. Because it is clearly recorded that Okita's blood was recorded by the "New Selection Group" written by Hiroshi Matsuzawa, Okita still joined the pursuit of Changzhou remnant party afterwards (that is, the Ikeda House incident of 713 was 7/8). On the one hand, the change of the next month's ban on doors still recorded that Okita was dispatched with Kondo, Earthwork, Takeda and Yongcang (Nishimura, Wencang), and Keio was invited. Shikanosuke wrote in "The Record of Two Heroes" that Okita fell ill in February (1867/3) in the third year of Keio, and people around him could notice its obvious onset. In Ishinosuke's letter to Kondo, we can also see his unusual concern for Hejida's body. Nishimura's essay "The Story of a Lonely Surgeon" said that he was very ill when he moved Tunsuo to Fudodo village around September. Since then, it is generally believed that Okita was unable to fight. It was around the autumn and winter of Keio for three years that she fell into a state of serious illness. Moreover, some people think that the origin of Ikeda House's bloody fainting scene, led by The Story of the New Electoral College, is Nobuo Nagakura's The Story of the New Electoral College, but there are no words such as "vomiting blood" and "bleeding" in that book, and Ikeda's fainting is recorded instead. This is considered to be a temporary heatstroke symptom caused by a fight at an unusually hot and sultry temperature in early summer. At least for people around Kondo and Changcang, the lungs will not feel abnormal.
