There have been a lot of research results on the adsorption and treatment of water pollution by expanded graphite. Expanded graphite is far more effective and economical than ordinary activated carbon in treating oil and organic pollution in water. However, expanded graphite is not easy to transport and needs to be prepared at the application site. The preparation, use, recovery and regeneration of expanded graphite environmental protection materials have certain technical difficulties.
In addition, environmental protection was not paid enough attention in the past, and expanded graphite, an environmental protection material, has not been industrialized. The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to build a beautiful China, which strengthened environmental protection and made the industrialization of environmental protection materials of expanded graphite possible. At present, the technical foundation for the industrialization of expanded graphite environmental protection materials is already available, and this project can be carried out from two technical levels.
