What is BFGF cell growth factor? What's the use?
Basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF for short) is a trace substance existing in mammals and human bodies, and bFGF receptors are distributed in various tissues and cells, so it has a wide range of physiological functions and is a multifunctional cell growth factor.

? BFGF has a wide range of functions, which can promote the proliferation and division of almost all cells related to trauma, such as fibroblasts, vascular endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, epithelial cells, chondrocytes and nerve cells.

Mechanism of action: bFGF receptors are widely distributed on these cell membranes and have high specificity and affinity for bFGF receptors. When bFGF specifically binds to the receptor, it activates intracellular protein kinase through the information transmission system in the cell membrane structure, and then causes various physiological and biochemical reactions in the cell, and finally realizes the regulation of cell growth. BFGF can significantly promote three stages in the process of wound repair, namely, local inflammatory reaction stage, cell proliferation and differentiation stage, granulation tissue formation stage and tissue reconstruction stage.

Application:

1. Various acute and chronic body surface ulcers (including diabetic ulcer, radiation ulcer, bedsore, fistula, etc.). ).

2. Fresh wounds (including trauma, knife wound, frostbite, laser wound, skin donor wound, surgical wound, etc.). ).

3. Burn and scald (superficial second degree, deep second degree, granulation wound, etc.). ).

Principle:

BFGF has obvious trend activity on wound cells, inducing inflammatory cells, fibroblasts and vascular endothelial cells to move to the wound site, activating the phagocytic function of macrophages, improving the immune activity of the body and obviously reducing the chance of wound infection.

It can stimulate the expression of collagenase, so it can effectively inhibit the pathological scar caused by massive synthesis and excessive precipitation of collagen, thus improving the quality of wound healing. BFGF can also significantly promote the regeneration of nerve fibers in injured tissue, and accelerate the recovery of injured tissue function by improving tissue nerve reinnervation.

BFGF can accelerate wound healing by promoting the rapid proliferation of epithelial cells, covering the wound center. Although the body can spontaneously secrete a small amount of growth factors such as bFGF when it is injured, it plays a role in self-repair. However, experiments have proved that spontaneous wound repair is far from the maximum speed, and the growth factors in its molecular environment have not reached the optimal level, especially for many refractory chronic wounds. Because some cells in the body are inhibited and lose the function of secreting growth factors, it is difficult for the wound to heal for a long time.

With the different types of wounds, the healing of fresh wounds, burned wounds and chronic wounds can be accelerated gradually in advance after bFGF treatment, which may be related to the amount of bFGF in the wounds and the amount of bFGF added. Fresh wounds contain bFGF, and adding bFGF is not the main factor to start healing, while chronic wounds contain little or no bFGF, but adding bFGF plays a starting role.
