Hello everyone, the old driver who inspects cars meets you again! I am a second-hand car inspector. I have a strong body and agile skills. Most importantly, I have fast driving speed. Everyone affectionately calls me Xiaopeng. Welcome to this episode of used car inspection fun facts.
As we all know, the BMW Brilliance 1 Series is no longer the "1 Series" it used to be. Labels such as front-wheel drive, three-cylinder, sedan, and special for China have all broken away from and subverted BMW's consistent tradition. It has been reduced to a leek truck that just sells car logos!
As a loyal BMW fan, the customer’s brother this time also scorns the current Brilliance 1 Series. In his eyes, the essence of the 1 Series will always belong to the BMW M135i equipped with a 3.0T inline six-cylinder engine.
This is the one above. The customer’s eldest brother bought it for his son. He is a young man who has just started working. He likes speed and trendy electric cars. However, the customer’s eldest brother is not interested in electric cars. In terms of driving, The quality is better than that of a fuel vehicle! In order to let my son understand the essence of BMW's control, I found such an M135, bought it and drove it to experience what a performance car is! But buying a second-hand car is a bit uneasy. After all, it is almost ten years old, and there are too many uncertainties in this industry!
The customer’s elder brother originally wanted to ask an auto mechanic he was familiar with to help inspect the car, but the other party was afraid that he would not be sure and would get into trouble later if something went wrong, so he declined politely, but recommended us. Customer brother, Xiaopeng’s testing task was then scheduled! Let’s follow Xiaopeng’s big screen to see what the condition of this M135 is!
Model year: BMW 1 Series (imported) 2013 M135i5 door version Factory date: 2013-08 License date: 2013-12 Display mileage: 115372KM Manufacturer’s guidance: 498,000 Car dealer’s quotation: 198,000 As per the old rules, take a look around! The paint on the left side of the car body is well preserved, and the paint thickness is within the normal range of about 100 μm. Of course, small scratches and dents are inevitable!
The performance of the right side of the body is also good. Only a small area of ????the rear fender is spray-painted. The C-pillar is no problem!
The front cover is not good. The paint is over 1,000 thick. The sheet metal has been reshaped before. It must have been an accident. Observing the inner hinge screws, there seems to be no trace of twisting, but the back of the machine cover has been spray-painted a second time, and some red paint remains, indicating that the machine cover was replaced later, and the replacement was a red car parts! There is no way to replace the machine cover without removing the screws. It seems that the screws have been repainted to cover up the traces of paint peeling off!
Other front windshields and rear taillights have also been replaced, but they were not caused by major accidents. There are no signs of accident damage around the glass and taillights. Then we will focus on investigating the accident situation at the front of the car.
The most valuable thing about the whole car is the 3.0T straight-six turbocharged engine inside, with a maximum power of 320 horsepower and a peak torque of 450 Nm. It is matched with an 8AT gearbox and can break 100km/h in 5 seconds. It is front-mounted and rear-mounted. Drive, start burning tires! If the customer's eldest brother's son is a newbie, it's still a bit difficult to control!
Look at the fenders on both sides. The fixing screws of the right front fender have moved. Needless to say, they must have been removed before. Look at the color of the back of the fender, which is blue. Compare it to the fender on the other side that has not been removed. , the original factory color is dark gray, which means that the right front fender has been replaced and there is a collision accident on the right front.
