Originated in southwest Africa, it has been introduced to China. I like a warm, dry and sunny environment. Drought resistance, fear of high temperature and humidity. Loose sandy loam land is needed. The optimum temperature for winter maintenance should not be lower than 65438 05℃. Propagation is easy, and cutting is the main method. Its leaf-shaped leaves are gorgeous in color and high in ornamental value.
Basic management
Soil: Loose and breathable sand is the best soil for breeding begonia, and it doesn't have to be sand, but it can be the same as other succulents.
Environment: Begonia should be kept in a sunny environment. If it is newly planted, it can be planted slowly in a cool and ventilated place.
Water: Begonia does not need to keep the soil moist for a long time, but it needs to keep the soil dry and water it properly. This kind of begonia is drought-resistant and not easy to die, but it is easy to rot its roots due to accumulated water.
Root-knot nematodiasis often occurs when the humidity of potted begonia is too high, which can be controlled by 3% carbofuran granules. Insect pests do great harm to scale insects, and 55% chlorpyrifos EC 1500 times can be sprayed.
