What are the eight sights and four treasures in Zhoukou?
It's a pity to hear it for the first time.

This is what I found-

Eight views and four treasures only found eight views and two treasures, hoping to be supplemented.

It was called Zhoujiakou in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. During the reign of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty, Zhoukou Town was established. Together with Zhuxian Town, Daokou Town and Sheqi Town, it is called the four famous towns in Henan.

Zhoukou, called Yingchuan in ancient times, is an important town in eastern Henan.

First, Phuket Bell

In ancient times, there was a magnificent Fossett on the riverbank on the north side of the new street on the south bank of Zhoukou. It is said that it was built on the pillars of the main hall in the early Qing Dynasty, when there was a couplet entitled Du Yaode. The text says: Yu Ling spread to the DPRK in Britain and participated in Upanishads for fifty-three years, and all beings crossed the river; Wake up the earthly dream, listen to the bell of 180 pestle, and the earth will listen together. The monks in the temple ring the bell three times a day, each time it is 108, and the bell is clear and can be heard in the three towns.

Second, Hongqiao lights.

The second slab bridge now built on the Jialu River was rebuilt on the old site of the second slab bridge. The former Second Banqiao was much higher than the present Second Banqiao. There are shops at both ends of the bridge, and there are groups of ships under the bridge, which is very lively. When night falls, the long bridge is wavy and brightly lit, like a rainbow, until late at night.

Third, the wheels and hooves in downtown areas

In the heyday of the old Zhoukou, business travelers from all over the world gathered here, and commodity transactions were very extensive, with Lu Chen (grain) as the bulk, and livestock transactions were well-known inside and outside the Great Wall. In Fangzi Street in Henan and Hebei, there are thousands of wagons, ox carts and unicycles that buy and sell all kinds of grain every day, and there are only hundreds of large and small ships that load and unload all kinds of grain. There are livestock markets in Henan and Hebei, which are crowded and noisy all day. According to the cloud, the daily turnover of livestock reaches 10000.

Fourth, dangerous telephone poles are illuminated at night.

There is a two-part allegorical saying in Zhoukou: "The flagpole of the old street-independence". Generally speaking, two flagpoles are erected at the same time, but there is only one flagpole in the middle of Henan Old Street, which is quite high. As for why people erect it and why they only erect a flagpole, it is not known today. The flagpole was destroyed during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, and there is no trace at present.

V. Port crossing

Before the completion of Zhoukou (the old bridge), the north-south traffic was not convenient. Pedestrians used to use wooden boats to ferry. From east to west, there are Qibukou, Xindukou, Mars Pavilion, Xiaodukou, Dadukou (along the Shahe River) and Wangbukou (along the Jialu River). Because there are many people crossing the river and the boats are small, people are buzzing day and night. 1935 After the completion of Zhoukou Bridge, the noise of the port no longer exists.

Six, green pavilion reflects the summer.

Cuige refers to the Spring and Autumn Pavilion of Guandi Temple in Hebei (now the backyard of Zhoukou Museum). At that time, the front yard of Guandi Temple had the main hall, east Langfang, west Langfang, theater and iron flagpole. In addition to the back west building and two cloisters, the central building in the backyard is the Spring and Autumn Pavilion. Because there is a clay sculpture of Guan Yunchang's "Watching Spring and Autumn at Night" in the pavilion, it is named "Spring and Autumn Pavilion". This pavilion is unique in architecture, towering into the sky, hanging under the eaves, spectacular, with glazed tiles and resplendent, colorful at sunrise or sunset, and full of weather, which is worthy of being a scene in Yingchuan.

Fishing and singing by the river

The confluence of Jia Luhe and Shahe is also the confluence of fish. At dawn every day in the East, fishermen carry willow-like boats, shuttle through storms and smoke, and cast nets to fish, or carp, or crucian carp, or mandarin fish. The fisherman worked hard all day, selling fish and rice, selling old wine, drinking three cups, flicking the strings and singing nonstop, which made people cry. The starry sky and fishing in the harbor are a colorful ink painting of Jiangnan fishing village.

Eight, Liuxiang hymn

On the southeast side of Zhongzhou Qiaotou is the so-called "Flower Street and Liuxiang"-Wanguan Street (changed to Yijiu Street during the Anti-Japanese War and changed to Xinsheng Street after liberation). At that time, there were many brothels in this street. Pimps bought some good girls from Yangzhou, Suzhou or the local area and taught them to play the piano and sing for bureaucrats, rich people, local tyrants, evil gentry and children. Whenever the lights are on, the streets are full of traffic, and the sheng pipes in the hospital play together, often staying up all night. At that time, a scholar once wrote a poem describing the colorful life in solve riddles on the lanterns, including the sentence "Flowers and willows are affectionate and sing all night", so "Liuxiang singing opera" was also listed as one of the eight scenic spots.

The past has passed, and Zhoukou is now brand-new.

Erzhen

Zhoujiakou beef tendon began in Yongle period of Ming Dynasty, which is superior to Kanggan. It is one of the eight scenic spots in old Zhoukou and Four Treasures of the Study.

Zhoujiakou brand grey tofu is a special snack and traditional food in Laozhoukou. According to documents, as early as the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, traditional craftsmen used plant ash to make unique gray tofu, which is famous for its unique flavor in the Central Plains and is one of the eight scenic spots in the old Zhoukou and Four Treasures of the Study.

There are still two treasures to be discovered.
