Canned chestnuts
1. First pick some big chestnuts with smooth shells and no moth. Take a clean bowl, fill it with water and soak the sharp corners of chestnuts. Put it in a cool and ventilated place and change the water every day.
2. In another week or so, chestnuts will grow tender white roots, so don't mistake them for buds.
3. Find a sand table, put clean sand on it, and put down the long roots of chestnuts. You don't have to bury the whole chestnut, just put it outside the sand, and the roots will stick themselves in.
4, add water to the sand every day, don't let the sand dry, keep it moist to grow fast. In about 3 weeks, chestnuts will grow seedlings.
5, water every day, you can move it to a place with scattered light. The seedlings run very fast and grow into green chestnut potted plants in less than a month!
Canned pine nuts
There are two ways to pot pine nuts. Let's introduce the first one-directly use raw pine nuts as potted plants.
1. 1. Choose healthy, plump and moth-free raw pine nuts, preferably mature pine nuts found on the ground, so that the germination rate is high. Soak them in clean water 10 hour.
2. Prepare the sand that has been exposed for 2 days. After watering, sprinkle pine nuts on the basin surface and cover it with a thin layer of sand. Remember to water every day to keep the soil moist, and the seeds will sprout soon.
3, gradually revealing the embryonic form of pine trees ~
4. Don't worry that the pine tree grows very big. In fact, it grows very slowly, and it takes about three years to grow to the size shown below.
The second method is to use pine cones as potted plants.
1, choose a healthy big pine cone, pay attention to choose one with pine nuts in it, because there are no pine nuts in individual pine cones, so it is best to open one. Insert pine cones obliquely in loose and breathable soil.
2. Water regularly to keep moist. After a period of time, pine nuts will germinate.
3. Water should be poured on the soil beside the pine cone, not directly on the pine cone, otherwise it will rot. Soon, sprouting little pine trees grew on the pine tower.
4. If you like, you can also keep the pine cone upright without moving the soil, and spray water every day to keep it moist and let it sprout upright.
