Jiaxing No.1 Hospital was formerly Catholic Sacred Heart Hospital, which was founded in 1920. It is a church hospital run by the French Catholic Paris Charity Association in Jiaxing Renai Hall.

1951September, Jiaxing Municipal People's Government took over Sacred Heart Hospital.

1952 merged with Jiaxing Municipal People's Government Clinic in September and was renamed Jiaxing Municipal Hospital.
