Turbine flowmeter focuses on measuring liquid and belongs to velocity flowmeter. The principle is to calculate the liquid flow rate by measuring the rotating speed of the impeller by using the relationship between the rotating angular velocity of the impeller placed in the liquid and the liquid flow rate.
Vortex flowmeter is designed and manufactured according to Carmen's vortex principle. The principle of fluid oscillation is applied to measure the flow. When the fluid passes through the vortex street flow transmitter in the pipeline, behind the vortex generator of the triangular column, two rows of vortices proportional to the flow are alternately generated up and down. The frequency of vortex release is related to the average velocity of fluid flowing through the vortex generator and the characteristics of the vortex generator.

Vortex flowmeter is mainly used to measure the flow of medium fluid in industrial pipelines, such as gas, liquid, steam and other media.
Turbine flowmeter is widely used in the following measurement objects: petroleum, organic liquid, inorganic liquid, liquefied gas, natural gas, coal gas and cryogenic fluid.
3. Different characteristics
The turbine flowmeter has the advantages of simple structure, few machining parts, light weight, convenient maintenance, large flow rate (large flow rate with the same caliber) and adaptability to high parameters (high temperature, high pressure and low temperature).
Vortex flowmeter is characterized by small pressure loss, large measuring range and high accuracy, and it is almost unaffected by parameters such as fluid density, pressure, temperature and viscosity when measuring volume flow under working conditions. There are no moving mechanical parts, so the reliability is high and the maintenance is small. The instrument parameters can be stable for a long time.
