For some leather garments with less dirty interlining, (1) and (2) cleaning materials can be used, which are cheap and easy to obtain. For some dirty clothes or light-colored leather clothes, it is best to choose some special cleaning agents for leather clothes with better effects, but the cost is higher.

3. Manual cleaning is basically to directly polish the leather with jacket oil. This method is just like putting on makeup without washing your face. Not only can the dirt not be completely removed, but also the finishing layer on the leather surface will be destroyed, so that all kinds of molds and bacteria remaining in the stains will penetrate into the inner layer of the leather, erode the collagen fibers, and make the leather hard, deformed and appear abnormal luster. Dirty lining can't be cleaned and disinfected at all, and the purpose of thorough cleaning and maintenance can't be achieved.

Second, the machine dry cleaning:

1. Machine dry cleaning: refers to a way of washing clothes with organic solvents in a dry cleaning machine. Its advantage is that it can not only clean the dirt on the leather surface, but also clean the dirt on the lining, and its efficiency is higher than that of manual cleaning. Dry cleaning agent has a strong ability to remove oil stains.

2. Commonly used dry cleaning agents include tetrachloroethylene, carbon tetrachloride and trichloroethylene. Among them, tetrachloroethylene accounts for the dominant position of dry cleaning agent, which is an ideal choice for all elements (safety, detergency and recyclability) of dry cleaning agent and is widely used in laundry industry. However, tetrachloroethylene has certain toxicity, which requires a higher sealing system for washing machines. The content of tetrachloroethylene in the outdoor air must be controlled within 100PPM to meet the safety standards. Sometimes it is difficult to remove some special stains with dry cleaning agents, so it is often necessary to add some dry cleaning AIDS to make full use of them, such as washing AIDS and detergents. The choice of dry cleaning agent should be determined according to the needs. In dry cleaning, in order to avoid the hardening of leather caused by the "extraction" of grease from leather by dry cleaning agent, low temperature and short time quick dry cleaning are generally adopted. This not only avoids the loss of grease in leather, but also prevents the hidden danger of leather garment deformation caused by excessive mechanical action. However, machine dry cleaning equipment has a large investment and high cost.

3. Machine dry cleaning technology will cause degreasing, pulp cracking and color fading after washing. In particular, suede, sanded leather, suede leather and fur dual-purpose clothes are the most prone to problems when washing, either they can't be washed cleanly or the finishing layer falls off, so it is difficult to completely restore the leather.

Whether it is hand washing or machine dry cleaning, it should be fully cleaned before coloring. In particular, the particularly dirty parts such as neckline cuffs and sleeve bottoms should focus on how much they can be washed away, and then cover them with coloring, especially thin leather clothes.
