It is one of the four largest dried fruits in the world and is called the king of nuts. In the world, hazelnuts are mainly produced in Turkey and widely distributed in temperate regions of Asia, Europe and North America.

Planting method of hazelnut:

Hazelnut is usually planted in the middle and late April, preferably 2-3 days after rain, and planting holes are dug in advance, and the spacing between planting holes is about 2-3 meters. Put the seedlings into the hole, gently lift the seedlings when releasing the soil, so that the roots are in close contact with the soil, and be sure to step on them after covering the soil to avoid air leakage affecting the development of the roots.

Hazelnut can't be planted deeply, only 3cm below the ground diameter of seedlings. After the backfill soil is compacted, it should be irrigated immediately. It is required to pour thoroughly at one time, and then add soil to preserve moisture after the water seeps down.

After sealing, the soil at the root of the seedling should be sealed with plastic film. After planting, it should be pruned and aired, and the branch size should be 50-60cm. There should be 4-5 full buds under the incision of each branch, and the incision should be painted immediately after drying to prevent water loss.
