Must-see attractions in Ruili travel guide
Ruili is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Yunnan Dehong Autonomous Prefecture, located on the border between China and Myanmar, and is one of the closest cities in China to Myanmar.

As a native of Ruili, I would like to introduce the tourist attractions and suggestions of Ruili, hoping to provide valuable information for friends who are about to travel to Ruili.

First stop: Let's pay attention to Murray Waterfall, one of the most famous scenic spots in Ruili.

Also known as Zaduo Waterfall, it is located in Sen Canyon, hidden in the depths of the tropical rain forest between Guangnong Mountain and Maguang Mountain. The scenery here is really spectacular. Clear spring water pours down from a 60-meter cliff, flying in the air like a huge white silk, giving people a mysterious feeling. In addition, there is a unique feature of Sen Waterfall, that is, the hot springs spewing out below the waterfall. When you come here, you seem to be in the arms of a forest, surrounded by thousands of tropical and subtropical plants. There are rare plants such as Ficus microcarpa, Ficus microcarpa, Ficus altissima and Liriodendron, as well as wild animals such as wild boar, bear and elk. Sen Waterfall is known as the natural forest oxygen bar with the highest negative oxygen ions in China, so it is definitely a good choice to get close to nature!

At the second stop, we came to another scenic spot in Ruili-a single tree into a forest.

In Ruili, banyan trees are everywhere. You can see these unique banyan trees in mountains, dams, villages and roadsides. Among them, there is a special banyan tree located next to Mangling Village, which is affectionately called Yingbin Banyan by Ruili people.

Although this banyan tree is not particularly big, its shape is very strange, and its left and right postures are different. Not only that, this welcoming banyan tree is also the location of many film and television films, attracting many stars. Here, you can feel the magic and beauty brought by banyan trees, which will definitely make you admire.

The third stop: If you want to talk about the scenic spots that Ruili must visit, you can't forget the Nanguhe Taobao field.

Located in the west of Nongdao Town, Ruili City, covering an area of 60 hectares. It is one of the richest areas in the gem metallogenic belt. It stretches for more than ten kilometers along the clear water of Nangu River, which is famous for rubies and sapphires. Nangu River is the border zone between China and Myanmar, and the nearby gem belt has a history of nearly 100 years. Although the cost of mining precious stones is high, many large and small precious stones can still be found in the riverbed, some for viewing and some for making jewelry pendants. If you are lucky, you can even find valuable jadeite. In Nanguhe Taobao, you can experience the charm of gems and bring yourself unique gains.

At the last stop, we came to Jielejinta, the oldest Buddhist building and tourist attraction in Ruili.

Located about one kilometer northeast of Ruili City, this stupa is a place for Buddhist activities with a long history. It is said that one night a long time ago, the foundation of the Golden Pagoda began to shine with amazing beauty, and people were shocked by this sight. After careful exploration, they found that it was a relic left by the Buddha, so all Buddhists raised funds together and built a tower and temple there to show their respect for the Buddha.

Since then, Lejin Nun Pagoda has burned incense every day, surrounded by towering old trees and stone lions. 1969, this stupa was unfortunately destroyed. But in 98 1, after several years of restoration, the new tower reappeared the original appearance of the old tower.

The new tower is more than ten meters high and its appearance is dazzling. As you can see, gold and platinum crowns are at the top of the main tower and the small tower. Every year before the Songkran Festival, Gelejinta will hold a grand Buddhist activity, attracting many Buddhist believers and tourists to participate. Gelejin Pagoda is one of the most representative Buddhist shrines in Ruili and one of the famous pagodas in Southeast Asia.
