University of Bologna (Italian: universitàdi Bologna;; ; Honorable name: Mother of University, Latin: Alma Mater Studiorum (also translated as University of Bologna, University of Bologna) is the oldest university recognized in Europe, located in Bologna, the capital of Emilia-Romagne Region.
