At present, there are 5 1 staff in the whole department, including 45 professional teachers, all of whom come from famous national fine arts colleges, such as Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts, Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Fine Arts, Donghua University, Jiangnan University, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, Xi Academy of Fine Arts, Hebei Normal University and so on.
The department also hired professors, experts and celebrities from the United States, Australia, Japan, Taiwan Province Province and famous universities of science, engineering and art in China as honorary professors, expert consultants and part-time teachers to participate in guiding professional teaching and giving professional academic lectures. At the same time, in order to strengthen international cooperation in running schools and academic exchange activities, professional teachers and students are sent and introduced to carry out professional academic exchanges, study tours and study abroad.
Since 1990, the department has developed and built a comprehensive training base for art design and various professional computer rooms, professional training rooms, professional reference rooms and professional studios with the help of loans from the United Nations World Bank, special investment from the Beijing Municipal Government and key demonstration professional funds from the United Nations General Assembly. It has more than 500 sets of professional instruments and equipment, tens of thousands of books, periodicals and teaching AIDS, with total assets of more than 20 million yuan. With advanced and comprehensive professional equipment and hardware, the total amount and import ratio rank first among similar majors in Beijing, and some equipment ranks at the international and domestic advanced level.
The organizational structure of the art design department is: department office, professional basic teaching department, clothing teaching department, visual communication teaching department, environmental art teaching department and art design research institute. In addition, there are training rooms corresponding to professional teaching, mainly including: Apple computer training room, digital film and television (animation) design and production training room, digital (short version) printing training room, CAD computer-aided design training room, silk-screen printing technology training room, furniture design and production training room, model design and production training room, clothing technology training room, art photography room and art design professional reference room.
Since its establishment, the Department of Art and Design has trained nearly 4,000 professional and technical talents for Beijing. Some outstanding students have become professional cadres, professional technical backbones and academic leaders in their enterprises and institutions, and some teachers and students have won various awards and honors in various international and domestic professional competitions, exhibitions and academic seminars, including the national "golden thimble" gold medal, the national Olympic delegation's award-winning clothes and competition clothes. Various awards of Nordic Saga Fur Fur Fur Trim Fashion Design Competition, Brother Cup International Young Designer Competition Award, CCTV Sunset Red Cup, CCTV Brain Platinum Cup, Golden Partner Cup National Fashion Design and Model Competition Finals Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, "Three Good Cups" Student Fashion Design Competition Gold Award sponsored by the State Education Commission and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and "Stars Cup" in Beijing. In 2002, "Copland-Newcomer Cup" won the second prize of the National Interior Design Competition for Young Students, and in 2003, the Sixth National Visual Design Competition for College Students and Jin Diqiang Design Award won the bronze prize of "Future Designer".

Huang Jinlong, graduated from Central Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree, is an associate professor, a member of China Artists Association, a member of China Printmakers Association, a member of Beijing Watercolor Society, and the president of Beijing Jin Min Painting Academy.
