The berets distributed to the officers and men of the whole army this time are the first equipment of our army. Berets are made of fine wool, and the colors are army dark brown green, navy dark blue and air force dark blue. The issue of berets has better solved the problems that officers and men used to wear large-brimmed hats in summer, which were too heavy, too hot and inconvenient to carry.
