Introduction to Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology was founded in February 1959, formerly known as Beijing Textile Vocational and Technical College, and renamed Beijing Chemical Fiber Institute in July 196 1. It is a key institution with chemical fiber higher education as the focus of the former Ministry of Textile Industry. 1February, 1987, it was rebuilt and expanded into Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, the first institute of fashion technology in China.
The school currently has 9 full-time undergraduate teaching colleges (Fashion Art and Engineering College, Fashion Art and Engineering College, Materials Science and Engineering College, Art Design College, Fashion Communication College, Business School, Information Engineering College, Language and Culture College and Fine Arts College), as well as basic teaching department, ideological and political theory course teaching department, graduate school, international college and continuing education college. There are nearly 9000 students of all kinds, including doctoral students and master students 1000. There are "China traditional costume culture rescue, inheritance and design innovation" national special doctoral program, several national professional construction sites, national experimental teaching demonstration center, national talent training mode innovation experimental zone, and key construction disciplines in Beijing. There are nearly 300 national and Beijing-level off-campus talent training bases. There is also a national "Top Ten" characteristic museum-National Costume Museum, which has a collection of more than 10,000 pieces of costumes, ornaments, fabrics, batiks and embroideries of all ethnic groups in China, integrating collection, display, scientific research and teaching.

Li Chunke, Wen Gangang and more than a dozen national China arts and crafts masters were hired as part-time tutors, Professor Carol Ann Priest, former vice president of Trent University and dean of the School of Art Design and Architectural Environment, was invited as the dean of the School of Fashion Art and Engineering, and Wu Xiaoli, a well-known media person and host of Phoenix TV, was invited as the dean of the School of Fashion Communication.
Adhering to the school philosophy of "being innovative and realistic, applying what you have learned", the school has built Zhongguancun Fashion Design Industry Innovation Park, which has made exemplary and pioneering progress in the transformation of fashion design industry achievements in China. Actively serving the textile and garment industry and cultural and creative industries, we have successively cooperated with Jinjiang, Qingdao, Shandong Rongcheng, Yulin, Hebei, Haining, Jiaxing, Wuzhong, Jiangsu Chenfeng Group, Beijing Aimu, White Collar, Wen Yi Company, Zhejiang Youngor Group, Rainbow Zhuang Company, Fujian Anta, Qipai, 36 1 Degree, Seven Wolves Company, Shandong Nanshan Group, Ji Fa, etc. The school has a number of Ministry of Education and Beijing-level scientific research institutions.
