In ancient times, girls were called ladies, and there were three kinds of clothes.

1. Identity clothing: It reflects the identity of a lady, such as "Yi Tian" for fairy women's clothing, "static clothing" for ladies' clothing, "Jun clothing" for ladies' clothing, "Buyi" for ordinary ladies' clothing and "Stone clothing" for ladies' clothing.

Second, dynasty costumes: reflect the characteristics of the dynasty. Hanfu is the clothes before Qin and Han Dynasties, Tang Fu is the clothes of Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties, Ming is the clothes of Song and Ming Dynasties, and there are other clothes such as Khufu, Mengfu and Fu Man.

Iii. Etiquette clothing: This is the etiquette standard formulated in past dynasties, which is generally divided into formal clothes, regular clothes and oral (banquet clothes), and it is the clothing style of women in different environments.

Although the styles of women's wear in the past dynasties have evolved frequently and repeatedly, their main clothing can be summarized into two categories: tops and bottoms. Coats are divided into outerwear, underwear and underwear. Coat forms are the most, including robe, fir, shovel, half arm, back, outer sleeve and so on. The lower clothing is divided into skirts, trousers, knee pads, socks, shoes and so on.

Dresses are mostly used for worship, canonization, wedding celebrations and banquets. Generally speaking, they are crowned or combed in a high bun and decorated with real pearls and jade jewelry. Wearing a big cedar or a wide robe, the wide sleeves, stand collars, sleeves and lapels have lace patterns, and sometimes a gown and shawl are added. Wearing a long skirt, knees covering the waist, wearing large and small belts, hanging ribbons, jade, shawls, long towels (wind belts) on the arms, with high head and embroidered shoes on the feet.

Regular clothes are casual clothes for women's daily life. Generally, they wear a high bun and a hairpin, and wear a fitted Luoshan, a horizontal collar (oblique collar) and a straight collar, and an apron around their waist to tie a jade. Wear a long skirt, only to the feet, with embroidered shoes.

For oral use, it is called a banquet dress, which is usually worn in the bedroom or in the shower. Generally dressed in a bun, hairpin and ribbon, wearing a short hairpin tube top, an inner skirt (plain yarn), a scarf and embroidered shoes.
