I am a middle school student in Karamay. In fact, Karamay, the richest city in Xinjiang, ranks in the top five in per capita GDP and once ranked second, second only to Shenzhen. Karamay's main economy comes from the oil industry. As we all know, oil prices are soaring now, which shows that Karamay is very rich. It is really because of the high income that the government has strengthened urban construction, especially after the introduction of the Yerkes River, which has strengthened urban greening and agricultural development. As we all know, Shihezi is a famous sanitary city, Karamay is also a sanitary city, and it is also the only city in the five northwestern provinces that has been selected as a national environmental protection model city. It is also because of the high income and few short-distance tourist destinations around, so Karamay people like local consumption, such as eating, shopping, singing, working and studying, and their lives are fairly rich, which leads to high consumption and high prices in Karamay. It is worth mentioning that Karamay, with a population of only over 300,000, spent much more on the first day of opening in KFC than in Urumqi, and it is not impossible to take the train.
