human history
Lao Zi's Hermit —— Laojun Mountain in Luanchuan, China
Laojun Mountain in Luanchuan was called Shijingshan in ancient times, and it was named after Laozi, the ancestor of Taoism, who lived in seclusion. Laozi was a great philosopher and thinker in ancient China and the founder of Taoist school. His thoughts are broad and profound. The Tao Te Ching written by Laozi covers a series of major issues such as natural changes, state governance, physical and mental cultivation, and reminds us of the relationship between man and nature, man and society, and man and nature. Laozi culture is the wealth and eternal heritage of mankind.
Laozi was born in Taiqing Palace in Lu Yi, and his fame was recognized by everyone in Lingbao Hanguguan, but the place where Laozi retired and died was little known. Where the hell was Laozi after Hangu amenorrhea? Many historical materials are not recorded. Mr. Li, who is nearly ninety years old, has been engaged in the study of Laozi culture for more than thirty years. According to records, inscriptions and relics, Laojun Mountain in Luanchuan today is Lao Zi's seclusion and practice place.
Laojun Mountain is located in the east of Luanchuan County. 1997 National Nature Reserve approved by the State Council is the core park of Funiu Mountain World Geopark. Since the Northern Wei Dynasty, there have been 16 temples in Laojun Mountain from the entrance of Qiliping Mountain, including Taiqing Palace, Yuan Shifang, Lingguan Hall, Hualin Hall, Shepherd's Circle, Jiuku Hall, Chuanjing Building, Guanyin Hall, Sanqing Hall and laojunmiao. Among them, laojunmiao, the highest peak, is the most spectacular, and there are only a handful in the Central Plains.
Laojun Mountain has dense landforms and beautiful scenery. Professor Luo, head of the National Cultural Heritage Administration Ancient Architecture Expert Group, praised: "The world is famous for its mountains, Taoist shrines, magnificent mountain scenery and perfect ecology." Academician Zhao Xun, an expert in the evaluation of the World Geopark, marveled: "So far, the largest granite peak forest wonder in the world has been discovered!
design concept
Laozi is a historical figure of China sages and the most sacred teacher of Taoist culture. In order to highlight his temperament as an old man, an old man, a wise man and a saint, he suddenly showed the idea of taking the universe as the origin of China Avenue. Shangluo Yangyuntong Art Co., Ltd., the general contractor of Laozi's sculpture project, visited famous teachers all over the world, carefully integrated and borrowed Laozi culture from Laojunshan, and finally made clear the design scheme of "extracting the soul of Laojunshan and shaping Taoist morality" through research from different cultural angles.
The statue of Laozi was cast in tin bronze, assembled on April 23rd, 2009, and completed on September 9th, 2009+February 20th, 2009. The overall statue of Laozi is majestic, resolute, calm, heavy, agile, old and arrogant, humble and dignified, steady and has a sense of dust, and is like a sage. Its headdress is like a crown, and its face embodies the extraordinary characteristics of Laozi's all-day, wide Fiona Fang, high forehead, long eyebrows and drooping shoulders. Laozi, the ancestor of Taoism, wore a gossip robe, and underwear was the official costume of the Zhou Dynasty to keep Tibetan history. In his right hand, he holds a book "Tao Te Ching" made of bamboo tube, and his left index finger points to the sky, which means "Heaven covers nature". He is the soul of a mountain and a giant of literature. The specific images are as follows:
The bronze statue of Laozi was crowned with the crown of wishful treasure, which means that Laozi changed from metaphysics to morality, and he became an old gentleman. Wearing a crown and tying one's hair into a bundle has a solemn feeling and exudes elegance and chic. Just like Laozi's thought, it is inextricably linked and all-encompassing, such as politics, philosophy, military affairs, culture and so on. These are all inclusive, but after all, it is inseparable from the word "Tao".
The head embodies the extraordinary characteristics of Laozi, such as a full heaven, a broad Fiona Fang, a raised forehead, long eyebrows and drooping shoulders. Kindness, modesty and simplicity, deep eyes, wisdom and warmth, and three principles on the forehead full of wisdom. (This point is based on Ge Hong's Bao Puzi Essays in the Jin Dynasty).
Laozi, the originator of Taoism in China, is wearing a bagua robe, centering on the fish diagram of Tai Chi Yin and Yang, and the bagua follows the clothes, which changes circularly according to the fish diagram of Tai Chi Yin and Yang, with majestic lines and concise atmosphere; Oral administration is the official costume of the Tibetan history of the Zhou Dynasty, with delicate lines, elegant lines and ethereal spirit, showing two kinds of ornaments with different textures: silk, silk underwear and silk robe (in ancient China, the clothing material reflected the owner's identity and social status) (Lao Zi was the official of the Tibetan history of the Zhou Dynasty). In his right hand, he holds a book "Tao Te Ching" made of bamboo slips, which educates all beings and covers the whole world with 5,000 words. After all, Taoism is natural; The left index finger points to the sky, pointing to the sky. In exploring the truth of the universe, it is "Tao" and "virtue" that acts according to its laws.
