The history of dry cleaning can be traced back to ancient times and originated from the birth of textiles and clothing. In ancient Pompeii, alkali and ammonia were used in the initial stage of washing. Later, a kind of clay called "bleaching soil" was found in the local area, which was used to adsorb dirt and grease on clothes, and the washed clothes became softer and cleaner. This is the earliest prototype of dry cleaning. Dry cleaning originated in Shanghai in the middle of18th century. It mainly serves foreigners living in China, mostly in the form of small shops or couples' shops, with relatively backward technology and equipment and growing through exploration. 19 18 Europe began to use a series of chemical solvents represented by trichloroethylene as dry cleaning solvents. Although the problem of flammability and explosion has been solved, the physical and chemical properties of trichloroethylene degreasing fiber have been damaged to some extent, which is harmful to equipment and operators.
