Chaoyang Campus is located at No.2 Sakura Garden East Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing.
Shaoyaoju Campus is located at shaoyaoju A 1, Chaoyang District, Beijing.
The North Campus is located in the west of Caonian Village, Beiqijia Town, Changping District, Beijing, and moved to Xiaotangshan South, Changping District, Beijing in 2008. After careful design and intense reconstruction and expansion, it was officially put into use in September of that year and welcomed the first batch of students, becoming the main base of basic education and teaching in the whole school.

Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology was founded in February 1959, formerly known as Beijing Textile Vocational and Technical College, and renamed Beijing Chemical Fiber Institute in July, 196 1. It is a key institution with chemical fiber higher education as the focus of the former Ministry of Textile Industry. 1February, 1987, it was rebuilt and expanded into Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, the first institute of fashion technology in China.
The school currently has 9 full-time undergraduate teaching colleges (Fashion Art and Engineering College, Fashion Art and Engineering College, Materials Science and Engineering College, Art Design College, Fashion Communication College, Business School, Information Engineering College, Language and Culture College and Fine Arts College), as well as basic teaching department, ideological and political theory course teaching department, graduate school, international college and continuing education college.
