PPE is the abbreviation of personal protective equipment. PPE refers to any device or appliance worn or held by an individual to prevent one or more dangers that harm health and safety. Mainly used to protect employees from serious work-related injuries or diseases caused by exposure to chemical radiation, electrical equipment, human equipment, mechanical equipment or some dangerous workplaces.
