Polypropylene is a kind of thermoplastic which is polymerized from propylene, and the * * * polymer which is polymerized from propylene with a small amount of ethylene and α-olefin is also included in the industry. The density of polypropylene is 0.89-0.9 1g/cm3, which is a colorless, odorless, nontoxic and translucent solid substance. Widely used in clothing, blankets and other fiber products, medical equipment, cars, bicycles, parts, pipelines, chemical containers and other production.
Extended data
Technical development of polypropylene materials;
The first generation technology is a production process including deashing and random material removal, which is complicated, mainly before the 1970s. The second-generation process is the second-generation catalyst developed in the 1970s, and the deashing process is cancelled in the production process. The third generation technology is after 80' s. With the development and application of supported catalysts with high activity and regularity, the deashing and impurity removal in the production process are cancelled. .
With the appearance of MgCl2 supported catalyst and the development of internal and external electron donor technology, the fourth generation process makes it possible to directly obtain polypropylene products with low catalyst residue and high stereoregularity through polymerization process, and completely eliminates the processes of deashing and removing random substances.
Polypropylene production processes can be divided into solution method, slurry method, bulk method and gas phase method according to polymerization types. Because of the low activity of solution method and slurry method, it is necessary to remove ash, which is random and less and less used. At present, bulk method and gas phase method are the main production processes of polypropylene in the world. The PP material is polypropylene. The high temperature resistance of PP material is 155℃, and it softens around 155℃, and the melting point of PP material is 165℃.
