The best way to store clothes
How to store all kinds of clothes: (1) Cotton and linen clothes: During storage, clothes should be washed, dried and folded, and wardrobes, cabinets and polyethylene bags should be kept clean and dry to prevent mildew. It is best to store white clothes separately from dark clothes to prevent them from getting dirty or turning yellow. ? (2) Silk clothing: In order to prevent moisture and dust, cover the clothing with a layer of cotton cloth or wrap the silk clothing. White clothes should not be put in camphor boxes or mothballs, otherwise they will turn yellow easily. ? (3) Woolen clothes: After wearing all kinds of woolen clothes for a period of time, they should be aired and slapped to remove dust. Put it in a dry place when not in use. It should be hung and stored, and the reverse side of the fabric should be turned out to prevent fading, weathering and wind marks. Brush or wash, iron, dry and ventilate for one day before storage. High-grade woolen clothes, it is best to hang in the wardrobe, do not overlap, so as not to be deformed and affect the appearance. When storing all wool or blended clothes, wrap the mothballs in cotton paper and put them in clothes pockets or closets and boxes. Plush clothes should be stored separately from other clothes to avoid falling and soiling other clothes. ? (4) Chemical fiber clothing: Man-made fiber clothing should be laid flat and should not be hung for a long time, so as not to be elongated due to hanging. When storing blended fabric garments containing natural fibers, you can put a small amount of mothballs or pesticides, but don't touch them; For clothes made of synthetic fibers such as polyester and nylon, mothballs are not needed, let alone sanitary balls, to avoid the damage of binaphthol to clothes and fabrics. Maintenance skills of several special fabrics: 1. Maintenance of cotton and linen clothing Cotton and linen are composed of cellulose macromolecules and have good hygroscopicity. When stored, it is mainly mildew-proof, that is, to prevent the reproduction of mold and microorganisms. The main method is to keep the fabric clean and dry, especially in the rainy season in summer. 2. Pay attention to ironing woolen clothes: (1) The iron temperature can be higher, and the dirty place of woolen clothes can be ironed several times, but don't directly touch woolen clothes to avoid strong light; (2) the towel should be washed with water constantly, and the warm water in the basin should be constantly updated; (3) After "dry cleaning", woolen clothes can be hung up with hangers, and then they can be worn after the moisture is fully dried. Woolen clothes are prone to damp and mildew. Because wool contains oil and protein, it is easy to be eaten by insects and bitten by mice. Pay attention to the following points when storing: (1) It is best not to fold it, but to hang it on a hanger and put it in a cabinet to avoid wrinkling when wearing it. (2) The cabinet for storing clothes should be kept clean and dry, the temperature should be kept below 25℃ and the relative humidity should be kept below 60%. At the same time, mothballs should be put to avoid damp, mildew or insects. Store clothes in a cool place and avoid direct sunlight to avoid fading. (3) Always take it out to dry (don't expose it to the sun), pat off dust and remove moisture. After drying, let it cool before putting it in the cupboard. (4) When the worn clothes need to be stored for changing seasons, they should be cleaned to avoid mildew or moth-eaten caused by sweat stains and dust. 3. Maintenance of Silk Clothing The foundation of silk clothing maintenance is careful wearing. The strength of silk is high, the sericin outside the silk is protected and the wear resistance is good. However, because the fiber of silk is too thin, it is necessary to avoid collision. Any contact with rough and burr substances will often cause silk to "jump" and cause damage. In addition, don't sleep on mats, rattan chairs, wooden boards and other rough things in silk clothes, so as not to cause unnecessary damage or silk turning. Alkali is destructive to silk, so it is necessary to avoid contact with alkali-containing substances when wearing silk summer clothes. At the same time, silk is also greatly influenced by salt. The salt in human sweat will turn the summer dress of light-colored silk yellow and red, so you should pay attention to washing it frequently and keep its surface clean. It is best to choose neutral soap chips or high-grade detergents for washing silk summer clothes. Soap can be dissolved in hot water first, and then soaked in silk summer clothes after cooling. Rub with your hands (be careful not to rub with a washboard to avoid twisting). After washing, put the soap into the net, otherwise it will be easy to bloom. The summer clothes for washing dark silk can only be bleached repeatedly with clear water, and detergents such as soap chips cannot be used to avoid soap stains and whitening. When washing brightly colored silk summer clothes, you can put a little salt to avoid fading. Because silk is easy to embrittle under the action of solar ultraviolet rays and its color fastness is poor, it should not be exposed to the sun after washing, but should be hung in a ventilated place to dry in the shade. When the silk summer dress is 80% dry, cover it with a white cloth and iron it. The temperature should not be higher than 130℃, otherwise the silk will be damaged, and there is no need to spray water when ironing to avoid water stains. Silk is a kind of protein fiber with strong hygroscopicity. When the environment is humid, some molds and bacteria are easy to grow and multiply on the fabric. Clothes should be washed before collection, preferably ironed once, which can play the role of sterilization and insect prevention. Wardrobe boxes should be kept clean and dry. Silk clothes are thin, soft and afraid of pressure, so they can be placed on the top of the clothes pile. Light-colored silk clothes are best wrapped in fine white cloth to prevent yellow stains from the wind. Health balls should not be placed in silk clothes, otherwise the white will turn yellow. Tussah silk should not be put together with mulberry silk, because the former will discolor the latter. 4. Maintenance of chemical fiber clothing Viscose fiber clothing has poor wear resistance and is easy to pilling and deformation, so it should be less rubbed and twisted when wearing or washing. Don't hang it for a long time, so as not to stretch and deform. Wash and dry when collecting to avoid high humidity and high temperature environment. Clothing made of synthetic fibers, except acrylic fiber and vinylon, should not be exposed to the sun for a long time, otherwise it will easily age, become hard and brittle, and its strength will decrease. Wash and dry when collecting. Do not put sanitary balls or camphor tablets. If there is wool in the blend, put a small amount of camphor tablets and wrap them in paper. Don't let camphor touch clothes directly. For commonly used acrylic and vinylon clothing, we should master the following methods: (1) acrylic clothing. When washing, use soap or washing powder to dissolve in warm water, soak the clothes and gently rub them. Thick fabrics can be lightly brushed with a soft brush, then washed with clear water, gently dewatered and dried in the shade in a ventilated place. Don't be exposed to the sun. When ironing, the clothes should be lined with a wet cloth, and the temperature should be controlled below 150℃ (it is easy to change color if the temperature is too high). Because this fabric is not afraid of insects, it is not necessary to put mothballs when collecting, but it should be kept clean and dry to avoid some mildew spots on viscose fiber. (2) vinylon clothing. Washing method is the same as cotton fabric, but don't use too alkaline soap and too hot water, and don't use too much force to avoid fiber shrinkage, hardening and pilling. The fabric must be ironed after drying. Don't spray water (it will shrink easily when ironing is wet), and put a flat cloth on it. The temperature shall not exceed 1 10℃. Vinylon fabric should not be baked at high temperature, otherwise it will become hard, brown and even brittle. This kind of textile is not afraid of moth and mildew. It can be washed before collection and kept clean and dry. 5. Maintenance of Down Jacket Washing Down Jacket should avoid alkaline substances, stir with washing machine or knead by hand, twist and bake with open flame. Down jackets should be worn on the body to prevent holes caused by hooking and friction, and should not be in contact with strong acid and alkali substances. Wash and dry when collecting to avoid heavy pressure. Specifically, it should be: (1) moisture-proof and diligent sun exposure. In winter, down products should be dried every 3 ~ 5 days. When drying, they can be gently patted with a wooden stick to remove moisture, make them soft and prolong their service life. (2) Beware of serious injuries. Generally, the fabrics of down products are extremely afraid of being scratched by sharp tools such as nails and knives, because this will cause down to fly away, which will not only hinder washing, but also scrap down products, so be extra careful when wearing them. In addition, it is also necessary to prevent cigarette butts and open flames from burning them out. (3) Collect carefully. The down jacket before collection must be washed and dried to prevent mildew and insects. Metal buttons and zippers of down products should be coated with a layer of Bo Tu wax grease to avoid rusting. You can put it in a large plastic bag when you collect it, and then put it in a box. Don't put mothballs in the box. The correct washing method is: (1) If the down jacket is not too dirty, it can be dry-cleaned. Gently wipe the neckline, cuffs and front with a brush dipped in gasoline. After the oil stain is removed, wipe the place stained with gasoline with a dry towel and wear it after the gasoline has completely evaporated. (2) If the down jacket is too dirty, only the whole washing method is adopted. First soak the down jacket in cold water for 20 minutes. Pour about 2 tablespoons of washing powder into clean water with water temperature of 20-30 degrees Celsius, stir well, then put it into water, take out the extruded dehydrated down jacket from the clean water and soak it for 5- 10 minute. Take the down jacket out of the washing liquid, lay it flat on a clean table, and gently brush it from the inside out with a soft brush dipped in the washing liquid. After brushing, wash the clothes several times in the washing liquid, then rinse them twice with warm water at 30 degrees Celsius, and then rinse them three times with clear water to completely remove the detergent residue. Roll up the rinsed down jacket with a clean cloth to gently squeeze out the water, and then put it in the sun or in a ventilated place to dry. After drying, gently pat the surface of the garment with a stick to restore the original fluffy softness of the down jacket. 6. Maintenance of leather clothes Leather clothes are stained with oil, so don't wipe them with water or gasoline. Because water can make leather hard, gasoline can make the oil contained in leather evaporate and dry. It is best to gently wipe the dirt with a flannel block or a soft brush. After cleaning, apply a little vaseline and then wipe it with a soft cloth. When leather clothes are worn for a long time, the leather surface will blister and become nitrate. At this time, 50 grams of rice flour, 0/0 grams of nitrocellulose/kloc-0, 2.5 grams of refined salt can be mixed with a little water to form a sticky paste, and then rubbed at the anti-nitration place to restore the original state. If there are cracks on the leather surface, paraffin or egg white can be embedded in the cracks and ironed with a warm iron. Generally, after wearing 1~2 years, the leather clothes should be polished once in the washing and dyeing shop, which can make the leather clothes look like new and durable. When wearing leather, be careful not to touch sharp and rough objects to prevent cuts or scratches. It should not be worn in rainy and snowy days to prevent the strength from decreasing after getting wet. Leather clothes can only be dried in a ventilated and cool place, not exposed to the sun. You can't fold it when you collect it. You should hang it in the cupboard with a hanger. When storing, do not stick to other leather goods and leather goods to prevent sticking. Put a small amount of wrapped sanitary balls properly, pay attention to moisture and mildew prevention, and dry them in time after getting wet.
