Levin Textile began in the late Ming Dynasty, flourished in the late Qing Dynasty and flourished in the early Republic of China. It has been circulating for more than 400 years. At present, there are more than 4,000 textile enterprises, 40,000 sets of textile machinery, 6,543.8+600,000 employees and 98 specialized textile villages in the county. The annual home textile boutique exhibition is a national textile industry event integrating product display, technology promotion and industry exchange. It has the largest professional textile museum with the most comprehensive historical materials and cultural relics in China and the largest county-level sewage treatment plant in the province. With national well-known trademarks, national inspection-free products, 35 provincial famous trademarks and brand-name products, green ecological textiles have become regional brands.
Levin's textile industry is developed, and the production and sales of towels, wool and blankets account for 38.8%, 24.7% and 26% of the country respectively. It is the largest cotton yarn distribution center in China, with the largest towel wholesale market in China-Levin Textile Trade City, the largest carpet production cluster in China-Nanxing Carpet Industrial Park, and the provincial supervision and inspection station for towel products. Products sell well all over the country and are exported to Eastern Europe and Latin America. In 2009, China Textile Industry Association awarded Levin the title of "Famous City of Towels and Blankets in China".
