Childhood dream

When I was young, everyone had their own dreams. At that time, our hearts were pure and full of expectations and longings for the future. Recalling the dreams of those years can't help but make people feel deeply moved.

When I was a child, my dream was to be an astronaut. I often look up at the stars and imagine myself driving a spaceship in the vast universe. At that time, I thought that astronauts were the most magical profession. They can explore unknown planets, discover new life forms and open up new fields for the future of mankind. In order to realize this dream, I study hard scientific knowledge, especially physics and mathematics, hoping to prepare for my future space travel.

However, as time went on, my dream changed. When I grew up and began to acquire more knowledge and information, I found that the world was far more complicated than I expected. I began to have a strong interest in the environmental problems, social injustice and the future development of mankind. So, I gave up my dream of being an astronaut and decided to become an environmental worker to contribute to the protection of the earth's homeland.

In order to realize this dream, I chose the major of environmental science. At school, I learn all kinds of environmental protection knowledge, participate in all kinds of environmental protection practice activities, and strive to improve my overall quality. At the same time, I also pay attention to the environmental protection trends at home and abroad, understand various environmental protection policies and measures, and hope to contribute to the environmental protection cause in China.

Now, I have become an environmental worker. Although my work is not so romantic, I am proud that I can do my bit to improve the earth's environment. Whenever I see the blue sky, white clouds and green hills, I think of the boy who looked up at the starry sky when I was a child, and my heart is filled with emotion.

Looking back, I found that dreams are a constantly changing process. Childhood dreams may be innocent, but with our growth and rich experience, dreams will gradually become mature and realistic. It is these dreams that push us forward and let us pursue Excellence on the road of life.

Of course, dreams are not immutable. As time goes on, we may find new interests and pursuits. At this time, we should bravely pursue new dreams, constantly challenge ourselves and realize our life value. As the famous American writer Mark Twain said, "Twenty years later, you will regret what you didn't do, not what you did."

In a word, dreams are the source of power in our life, so let us go forward bravely and pursue Excellence constantly. No matter what our dream is, we should cherish this initial intention, pursue it bravely and make our dream a part of our life. As long as we persevere, one day, we will realize our dreams and live the life we yearn for.
