Yunmeng Shadow Play is an ancient traditional folk art form in Yunmeng County, Hubei Province. Since the middle of Qing Dynasty, there are still 26 shadow plays. Performance activities continue throughout the year. 1February, 1995, was awarded the title of "Hubei Shadow Play Art Town" by the Provincial Department of Culture. Yunmeng shadow play is light and simple, and two people act together. Singing and manipulating in the foreground, accompanied by percussion music in the background, commonly known as gong cavity or duet, is called drama Qingqi.

Most of them are historical romances of various dynasties, from the romance of ghosts and gods, the Eastern Zhou States, the Tang Dynasty, the Yue State, Tianbaotu, Haigong and Gong Liu.
