Yangon is the former capital of Myanmar.

Yangon, located in the richest Irrawaddy River Delta in Myanmar, is the economic and cultural center of Myanmar and a beautiful coastal city with tropical scenery. The city is surrounded by water on three sides, with Bo Gu River in the east, yangon river in the south and Lai River in the west. With a population of about 7.36 million and an area of 3 12 square miles, it is the general hub of land and sea transportation in Myanmar and abroad. Yangon is located in the middle of Irrawaddy River Delta, with flat terrain and fertile land. It is the most developed and affluent area in Myanmar.

Yangon is a beautiful tropical coastal city. The city is surrounded by water on three sides, with Bo Gu River in the east, yangon river in the south and Laihe River, one of the Han River (where the Irrawaddy River flows into the sea) in the west. From the south near yangon river, it extends north along the East-West River. It is a bustling business district with straight and spacious streets, flowerbeds in full bloom and tree-lined sidewalks.
