Perhaps it is because Europeans and Americans are tall, and their clothes pay more attention to neat tailoring and smooth lines. In a word, I personally like the design style of European and American clothing very much, because I appreciate the simple and clear design aesthetics.
Just like the world-famous designer Galeries Lafayette, every fashion show before his death showed his talent, and it was because of him that Chanel was taken to a new height and was familiar and recognized by people all over the world. I also like clothes designed by designers of Gucci brand, which are more popular, more fashionable and more suitable for young people.
But I personally think that the reason why European and American style clothes are not popular in Asia is that the proportion of Asian figure and the temperament of Asians are not suitable for European and American style clothes. Because Asians are petite and their bones are not as big as those of Europeans and Americans, they feel flat when wearing clothes. But wearing European and American-style clothes requires a very three-dimensional figure to show it. First of all, clothes in Europe and America are all wide-shouldered, and if you wear narrow shoulders, you won't have such a strong waist-shrinking effect.
But Asians have narrow shoulders, so wearing European and American-style clothes is not as three-dimensional as that worn by Europeans and Americans. Moreover, the colors of European and American clothes are too bright, probably because their skin is relatively white, so they all prefer to wear brightly colored clothes.
But Asians don't like such gorgeous clothes, because Asians are more reserved and prefer gray clothes.
