On the 27th, Chu Yan and Zhou Shaoen, teachers of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, who led the team of teachers and students to complete the design and production of "Beijing 8 Minutes" performance costume, returned to Beijing from PyeongChang Winter Olympics and introduced the situation to reporters.
Chu Yan told reporters: "This performance costume is equipped with three characteristics: First, it has strong cold resistance; Second, high technology content; The third is to match with fashion. "
Performers often rehearse for more than 30 minutes at outdoor low temperature of-10 degrees Celsius, and the most important requirement for clothing is to keep warm. However, performers have to wear roller skates to do a series of smooth and large-scale sliding movements, which requires clothes to be light and warm.
"In order to balance the lightness and warmth of clothing, we constantly try various materials and use various scientific and technological means. For example, graphene and self-heating fiber with continuous heating function at low temperature are used in the inner layer of clothes, which changes passive warmth into active warmth. The middle layer is also filled with wool flocs to meet the needs of warmth. The outer layer is made of wind-proof and breathable nylon soft shell material. " Chu Yan said.
"In order to make the clothing easy for performers to exercise, we use different materials and different thicknesses for different parts of the clothing to meet the different needs of heat and heat dissipation. For example, there is no padding under the armpit to ensure breathability. The back design focuses on heat dissipation performance, while the filler on the arm focuses on the position of the big arm according to the actual feeling of the performer. " Zhou Shaoen said, "We also provide modular choices from underwear to outerwear according to the differences of performers' physique types and temperature perception. "
In addition, the style design also reflects the high-tech and fashion sense. For example, two designers introduced the use of flexible LED beads. The flexible LED light beads on each garment are composed of eight wires connected in series, and each wire has about 100 light beads. Because the wire is not elastic, in order to reduce the stretching influence of movement on the wire, the design of LED lamp bead distribution is also very particular: curve arrangement is adopted, each lamp bead is marked at a fixed point, and the linear density is arranged according to the movement streamline to highlight the waist curve. Gloves and shoes are also sewn with light beads, and the whole suit creates a "future style".
