1. Qushui Garden Qingpu Qushui Garden, once known as Mingling Garden, is an affiliated garden of Chenghuang Temple. It was built in the 10th year of Qing Qianlong (AD 1745). There are square hall, Deyuexuan, Gexun Building, Ying Hui Pavilion, shore boat, sunset red half building, Ninghetang and other buildings in the park. Qushui Garden is centered on the Ninghe Temple, accompanied by Tang Jue and Hua Temple on the left and right, and there is a Qushui long embankment behind the temple. Around the dike are three future scenes: Xiaohaoliang, Yingxi and Mengdui. From the bank of the golden rooster through the lush forests and peaks, you can fly in a small range; Starting from Laorenfeng, you can reach Jiu Feng Pavilion. The whole garden twists and turns, very delicate. The garden is one of the five classical gardens in Shanghai, with ginkgo towering, wisteria lingering and ancient trees and flowers growing all the year round.
Second, ancient gardens
Guyi Garden is located in nanxiang town, Jiading. Built in the Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, it has been one of the famous gardens in the south of the Yangtze River for more than 400 years. Covering an area of 146 mu, it ranks first among the five classical gardens in Shanghai. The garden layout was carefully designed by Zhu, a famous bamboo engraver in the Ming Dynasty, taking the meaning of "green bamboo" in the Book of Songs. There are dozens of rare bamboos here, such as Phyllostachys pubescens, Phyllostachys pubescens, hawksbill bamboos, Chimonobamboos and anchovies. Bamboo is tall and dignified, graceful, and embraces each other in groups of three or five. Shijingzhuang in the Tang Dynasty, the common tower in the Song Dynasty, Yeyi Hall, Wuzhou, Baihe Pavilion, South Hall, Queqiao Pavilion, Yinwei Pavilion, Xiaosonggang and other temples and relics in the Ming and Qing Dynasties have accumulated profound historical and cultural connotations. The faint clear water is winding and pleasant, and there is a feeling of winding water and other things; The flower stone path bypasses the scenery, and the road stone pattern complements the scenery; The poems of couplets are simple and profound, and the calligraphy of famous artists such as Dong Qichang and Zhu Zhishan is exquisite and lasting. Ancient gardens are simple, elegant, light and refined. The unique style of Jiangnan gardens attracts people to explore the past and seek success.
3. Yuyuan Garden Yuyuan Garden is a famous classical garden in Shanghai and a classical garden in the south of the Yangtze River with a history of more than 400 years. The State Council is recognized as a national key cultural relics protection unit. It is located in the north of the Town God Temple in Heather District, covering an area of 20,000 square meters. It was built by Pan Yunduan, chief secretary of Sichuan in the Ming Dynasty to honor his parents. Its name means "please their parents and support them all their lives", hence the name "Yuyuan Garden". More than 40 landscapes in the whole park are cleverly separated by this lifelike dragon wall, winding cloisters and flowers of different shapes, forming a feature of walking towards beautiful scenery step by step.
4. Autumn Xiapu Park Autumn Xiapu Park is a famous Jiangnan classical garden in China and one of the five classical gardens in Shanghai. Built in the 15th year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1502), it was originally a private garden of Gong Hong, the minister of the Ministry of Industry in Ming Dynasty. When it was first built, there were ten scenic spots in the park, including Shuyuzhai, Sanyintang, Goufengling, Yingying Dike, Suihanjing, Baiwutai and Taohuatan. After several vicissitudes, several expansions, several owners changed hands. There are more than 20 places of interest such as water pavilions, and the scenery is beautiful and charming. Its layout design, rockery and flowers are all made by the famous Jiading stone carving artist. The main hall of Chenghuang Temple in Miao Yi Scenic Area is the "Shanghai Customs Photo" showroom of Shanghai Folk Culture Expo Center.
