The protective layer and waterproof and breathable layer are pressed together, and the inner lining is separated from them, usually nylon wire, mesh cloth or some sweat-absorbing materials, mostly black.
Three-layer fabric: protective layer, waterproof and breathable layer and lining are pressed together to look like a layer fabric. Generally, the color of lining is mostly silver gray. You can see the layering at the seams of the lining. Generally speaking, the permeability and warmth retention of two-layer fabric are slightly better than that of three-layer fabric, but the three-layer fabric is light in weight, comfortable to wear and small in folding volume.
Jackets have two main fabrics:
(1) is a microporous fabric with expanded PTFE composite film. At present, most of them are GORE-TEX, DENTIK, EVENT and 3TO 1-TEX in China. Its waterproof and breathable function is to compound a layer of microporous membrane on the outer fabric of clothing, in which micropores are smaller than water droplets and larger than gas molecules, which can block rain and volatilize their own sweat.
(2) The other is a hydrophilic fabric coated with PU or TPU, whose function is realized by a non-porous waterproof layer and hydrophilic molecular chain structure.
Extended information 1, two-layer composite fabric-only one waterproof and breathable layer is compounded under the outer fabric, so it needs to be lined to protect the waterproof and breathable layer when making clothes.
2. Three-layer composite rubber fabric-a waterproof and breathable layer is compounded under the outer fabric, and then a lining is compounded, so that the lining is not needed when making clothes.
3. Two-and-a-half layers of fabric-a waterproof and breathable layer is compounded under the outer layer of fabric, and a protective layer (not an interlining) is added. When making clothes, there is no need to add lining because of the protective layer, but it is much lighter and softer than the three-layer adhesive cloth.
