There is a legend about the origin of Erjiaxian: During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, there was a scholar named Ming in Shandong. Although his family was poor, he loved poetry and was proficient in melody. One day, he heard his daughter humming while spinning flowers, and the sounds of playing cotton were intertwined, which was beautiful and pleasing to the ear, so he recorded the music score and taught her to sing. Because of the drought, the father and the daughter fled to the south, begging and singing his little songs along the way, which everyone in the village loved to hear. This is the original cotton spinning minor. Later, on the basis of "Flower Drum Lilac", "Big Five Tones" and "Four Strings", through the efforts of the older generation of artists, today's two strings were gradually formed. The efforts of artists from generation to generation have gradually formed today's dimethyl line.
