Yesterday, I chatted with some friends about the situation in Ukraine and guessed the final outcome. In my opinion, there are roughly three possibilities.

The first possibility is that the Ukrainian army launched a fierce counterattack to drive the Russian army out of eastern Ukraine and even out of Crimea.

However, this possibility is very small, regardless of whether the Ukrainian army has such combat effectiveness. More importantly, Russia is a big country and a nuclear power after all. How can it sit back and watch such a fiasco?

The second possibility is that after the Russian army changed coaches, it launched a large-scale attack, completely reversed the battlefield situation, even went all out to the west, approached Kiev, and even won Kiev, forcing Ukraine to sign an alliance under the city.

However, this possibility is still very small. What was not done in the first three months, with the current combat effectiveness and morale of the Russian-Ukrainian army, it is very difficult for the Russian army to do it unless it is fully mobilized to prepare for war. However, there is the whole west behind the Ukrainian army, and the west will not sit idly by and watch the Ukrainian army defeat.
