Winter riding can be divided into four layers from the inside out:
On the first floor, my name is Comfort Building. This floor is wearing cycling underwear, cycling shorts and cycling pants with cushions. The main function is to keep our PP comfortable during long-term riding.
The second layer, which I call the perspiration layer, is mainly used to discharge the residual sweat during riding to the outside of the layer, so as to ensure that the layer is in direct contact with the body, free from moisture and sweat, and keep dry. In fact, this layer can also keep warm. There are many quick-drying thermal fleece underwear on the market now, and all of them can be made of this layer. Tufted cycling clothes can also be used as this layer. If the weather is not too cold, cycling clothes in spring and autumn and even in summer can also be used as this layer. Of course, if you are wearing this layer of cycling clothes, then the first "comfort layer" I mentioned before can be omitted.
The third layer, the warm layer. As the name implies, this layer has the function of keeping warm. There are often some clothes and trousers like polar fleece, and this layer also depends on whether it is hot or cold, or whether to wear thick polar fleece or thin polar fleece. In addition, fleece (generally polar fleece) also has good air permeability, which is very suitable for riding. The fourth layer, that is, the outermost layer, I call it the windproof and rainproof layer. Generally, we can use leather coat, soft shell coat or hard shell coat plus windbreaker instead. It has the effect of preventing wind and rain, and at the same time, it can ensure that the temperature inside the clothes is not lost, but the water can be excreted faster. Here, I don't recommend that you use a hard-shell coat in your daily riding, because the hard-shell coat is hard and inconvenient to move. In addition, although it is breathable, ordinary and cheap jackets have poor breathability, and the inner wall of the jacket is wet after riding, which is not conducive to the circulation of temperature and airflow in the body. Unless it rains heavily or something, we only use hard-shell coats. The four-layer dress mentioned above is layered after thinning, and the rider can make corresponding adjustments according to the actual weather conditions, temperature and amount of exercise. It doesn't have to be four floors. For example, if the weather is not cold, we can only wear a fleece cycling suit (warm and comfortable, sweat-wicking and quick-drying)+a leather coat (weatherproof). Let the cycling team in Shijiazhuang be hot not only in spring, summer and autumn, but also in winter.
